Employment Type: Full-time 
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed 
Pay Range: $20-24/hour (Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications in line with company pay practices). 
 
Job Summary: 
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. This role ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, vendors are paid on time, and company policies and accounting regulations are followed. This position works closely with the finance team, procurement, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain efficient payables processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and proper approval.</li>
<li>Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.</li>
<li>Enter and maintain vendor invoices in the accounting system.</li>
<li>Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy.</li>
<li>Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.</li>
<li>Prepare and process weekly check runs, electronic payments, or wire transfers.</li>
<li>Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintain organized and accurate financial records for auditing purposes.</li>
<li>Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Support the finance department with other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
<ul><li>Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.</li>
<li>Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
</li><li>Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.</li>
</ul>
 
Education and Experience:
<ul><li>High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.</li>
</ul>
 
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
</li><li>Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crouch for extended periods</li>
<li>Exposure to warehouse environment conditions (noise, dust, moving equipment, temperature fluctuations)</li>

The stated pay range reflects the Company&rsquo;s good faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation or benefits consistent with Company policies and applicable law. Applicants may request the pay scale for this position in accordance with California law.
