</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Summary</b></h4>
<p>
We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our snow removal crew for commercial properties in southeast Connecticut. Work is weather-dependent and can mean very early mornings (3&ndash;6 AM starts), late nights, or long days during big storms. Perfect part-time winter cash for students, retirees, landscapers, or anyone who likes being outside and doesn&rsquo;t mind hard physical work.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h4>
<ul><li>Hand-shovel sidewalks, steps, walkways, and tight areas where plows can&rsquo;t reach</li>
<li>Clear snow from around cars, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and dumpster areas</li>
<li>Spread ice melt/salt as needed</li>
<li>Show up on time, dressed properly, and ready to work in cold, snowy conditions</li>
<li>Communicate clearly with crew leader</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements</b></h4>
<ul><li>Must be 18+ with reliable transportation to the main job site (many calls are 4&ndash;6 AM; own vehicle strongly preferred)</li>
<li>Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and shovel for several hours at a time</li>
<li>Comfortable working in extreme cold, wind, snow, and ice for extended periods</li>
<li>Must have proper winter gear: waterproof boots, heavy gloves, hat, layers, etc.</li>
<li>Reliable cell phone that can receive texts/calls at odd hours</li>
<li>Positive attitude and strong work ethic &ndash; storms don&rsquo;t wait!</li>
<li>Previous shoveling, landscaping, or construction experience helpful but not required &ndash; we&rsquo;ll train the right person</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred (but not required)</b></h4>
<ul><li>Own snow shovel and/or backpack blower</li>
<li>Live within 20&ndash;30 minutes of the /Groton/New London area</li>
<li>Available for almost every storm (the more storms you work, the more you make)</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record a plus</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Pay &amp; Benefits</b></h4>
<ul><li>$30 per hour (paid same week)</li>
<li>Opportunity to move into plow truck driver or crew leader roles next season if you prove reliable</li></ul></div><p></p>
