The Communications &amp; Brand Manager at Colonial Country Club serves as a steward of the club&rsquo;s distinguished legacy, shaping and sharing its story with a deep respect for tradition and a clear vision for the future. This role is integral to fostering a culture where inclusivity is intentional, excellence is the default, and every communication reflects a shared sense of purpose. Through thoughtful, strategic messaging, this individual will strengthen member engagement, promote events, and enhance the club&rsquo;s reputation.
With a strong appreciation for the club&rsquo;s historic brand, the Communications &amp; Brand Manager ensures that all communications&mdash;across digital platforms, social media, newsletters, and press&mdash;honor its heritage while remaining relevant and compelling to today&rsquo;s membership. This role requires a keen ability to balance tradition with innovation, preserving the club&rsquo;s identity while elevating its voice across modern channels.
Operating in a highly collaborative environment, this position is inherently cross-functional, partnering with multiple departments to align messaging and support a wide range of initiatives. The ideal candidate excels in managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, often across differing timelines and phases, while maintaining consistency, precision, and a high standard of quality.

Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage the comprehensive communication strategy ensuring it aligns with the club&rsquo;s goals and enhances member engagement.</li><li>Create and manage content for all communication channels, including social media, the club website, lifestyle magazine, and email campaigns.</li><li>Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all platforms.</li><li>Write, edit, and distribute content that promotes club events, news, and achievements.</li><li>Manage the club&rsquo;s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with followers.</li><li>Oversee the production of print materials, such as brochures, flyers, and posters.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with local media and press contacts.</li><li>Prepare and distribute press releases and other media materials to promote the club and its events.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.</li><li>Create, coordinate and manage communication with members, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information regarding club activities and news.</li><li>Attend member events to gather content for both Social media and historical capture.</li><li>Gather feedback from members to improve communication efforts.</li><li>Collaborate with Department Heads to promote club events and activities.</li><li>Develop marketing materials and campaigns to drive attendance and participation in club events.</li><li>Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotional efforts.</li><li>Maintain and enhance the club&rsquo;s brand identity and ensure all communications are in line with the club&rsquo;s branding guidelines.</li><li>Oversee the use of the club&rsquo;s logo and other branding elements in all communications.</li><li>Continuously assess and improve the club&rsquo;s communication efforts to ensure they meet the needs of the members and the club&rsquo;s objectives.</li><li>Manage and oversee Front Desk Concierge team, as well as Marketing/Communications Internship program</li></ul>
Qualifications/Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related role.</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.</li><li>Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li></ul>
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with club policies and applicable laws.
<ul><li>Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills. This position requires a flexible schedule, including attendance at member events, which may occur during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.</li></ul></div>
