What you’ll do: 
The Brass Tacks
 <ul>
<li>Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the property by cleaning public and back of house areas.</li>
<li>Moves and arranges furniture.</li>
<li>Ensure storage areas are neat and organized.</li>
<li>Maintains inventory housekeeping and maintenance supplies and communicates damage or shortages to supervisor.</li>
<li>Sweeps and cleans designated floors/sidewalks</li>
<li>Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.</li>
<li>Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.</li>
<li>Empties and transports all trash and waste to disposal areas.</li>
<li>Follows recycling and waste removal procedures</li>
<li>Follows all safety and security procedures</li>
<li>Reports damages, lost items, or anything unusual or suspicious.</li>
<li>Maintains a safe and secure environment for residents and team members.</li>
<li>Reports and addresses unsafe conditions or security concerns immediately to management.</li>
<li>Responds to all residents and guests’ requests in an expeditious, courteous and professional manner.</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of all resident information and pertinent building data.</li>
<li>Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure their health and safety as well as others around them</li>
<li>Responds to calls for spill cleanup and trash removal</li>
<li>Responds to calls for cleaning or straightening of public or back of the house areas</li>
<li>Exceeds resident expectations by being responsive, engaged and following-through on all requests.</li>
<li>Responds to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintains favorable resident, guest and team collaboration</li>
<li>Pays special attention to detail</li>
<li>Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Columbia Hospitality values and mission.</li>
<li>Completes work orders and other projects as directed by Chief Engineer</li>
<li>Completes other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
The Nitty Gritty
 <ul>
<li>1 year custodial, housekeeping, porter, or similar experience preferred.</li>
<li>Must be flexible and able to work under pressure</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain high standards while working independently</li>
<li>Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus</li>
</ul>
