MISSION:The Medical Assistant will support the healthcare provider with direct patient care and, under the direction of a provider, perform various aspects of patient care. This includes both clinical and administrative duties with compassionate concern and consideration of the patient's needs.Pay will depend on experience and MA certification.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>The Medical Assistant must be proficient in taking patient vitals, setting up appropriate exam rooms, computer knowledge, excellent phlebotomy skills and HIPPA compliant.</li><li>The Medical Assistant will assist the provider as needed with diagnostic and surgical procedures and exams specific to the patient's needs. These include (but are not limited to) Pap Smears, colposcopy, contraceptive insertions, EKG, biopsy surgeries, basic wound care, diagnostic hearing and vision testing and pediatric immunizations.</li><li>Restock and clean exam rooms, clean instruments and prepare for autoclave sterilization.</li></ul>The Medical Assistant will cross train in a variety of departments allowing for cross coverage when needed.Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Vital signs: 1 year (Required)</li><li>medical assistant: 1 year (Required)</li><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Troutdale, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
