 Our client is a subsidiary of a UK-based company and a market leader in their industry, focusing on innovative technology solutions and world-class customer support services.
 
 
 We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to provide day-to-day support in the areas of payroll, recruitment, new employee onboarding, benefits and employee recognition programs. Position is on site, Monday through Friday, at the corporate office in Richardson, TX.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Payroll and HRIS
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Enters all new hire, changes and terminations in the HRIS and payroll systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Audits timecards, processes corrections and enters hours/data in payroll system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares, reviews and executes bi-weekly hourly and salaried payrolls to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, adjustments, overtime, leave use, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Processes pay corrections, researches issues and responds to payroll related questions from employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interfaces with third party payroll provider to resolve issues related to payroll set up and processing.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Recruitment
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinates the posting of all open job vacancies on the internal and external website, external job posting boards, state job bank, and colleges and universities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in screening resumes and routes qualified candidates to the hiring Manager for review.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts initial phone interviews with candidates; schedules follow-up interviews with candidates and respective hiring Managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Requests references from final candidates and completes all reference and background checks post offer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Distributes pre-employment documents to pending new hires in advance of start date. Reviews all forms for completeness and enters all applicable data into payroll and HRIS.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 New Employee Onboarding
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Distributes additional required new hire documents (forms, policies, handbook, etc) to new employees; tracks completion and return of documents. Reviews all returned documents to ensure completed accurately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates the development of formal new employee training programs with hiring Managers. Schedules the various training sessions with all attendees for each new hire.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts HR portion of the new employee orientation program.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors and records the completion of each new hire's progress reviews (1, 4, 8 and 12 weeks). Follows up with hiring Managers where necessary for missing reviews.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Benefits Administration
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provides benefit plan communication materials and enrollment forms to all new hires. Communicates plan details and responds to employee questions. Processes benefit enrollments, changes and terminations. Handles all COBRA administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews monthly insurance invoices from providers ensuring all enrollments and terminations have been processed and billed accordingly.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 General HR Administration
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assists in coordination of all employee recognition programs (service awards, birthdays and incentive awards).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures organization charts are up to date and uploaded to the company intranet in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in collecting and reporting data and metrics requested by Corporate HR.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains the HR bulletin boards and ensures all posters, notices and information is current.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors and reports on employee attendance and absenteeism issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tracks new employee performance evaluations and annual performance review evaluations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Files all employee related documents and records in employee files.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Training
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinates the scheduling of training throughout the business once approved by line Manager and/or HR.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains all training records in employee files.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Employee Events
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assists in the planning, scheduling and communication of various monthly, quarterly and annual employee and Company events.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Office/Facilities Administration
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Regularly conducts basic facilities reviews ensuring that all safety related policies are being followed and that all first aid supplies are available.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides basic facilities support as needed to include scheduling of maintenance and repair service with vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works with internal IT department for issuance of company computers, cell phones and other equipment for new hires.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Education and Experience Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 0-3 years of experience. Will consider a recent graduate with relevant internship experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Intermediate knowledge of US employment law, employee health and welfare plans, and general HR related programs required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Intermediate level computer skills to include HR and/or payroll systems. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and Outlook required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required. Ability to relate and build rapport with internal staff and external candidates and organizations required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong time management, organization and problem-solving skills required. Ability to work independently with shifting priorities is a must.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to multi-task, demonstrated initiative and focus on delivering high quality results leading to improvements in current business operations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Compensation and Benefits Offered:

 Salary:
 
 Up to $60,000 annually
 </li>
 <li>
 10 days paid vacation (increases with length of service) + 7 public holidays.
