As the primary leader on site, it is his/her responsibility to deliver a safe and successful project from start to finish. Typically, the superintendent interfaces daily with the project manager, subcontractors, design team and owner representatives to achieve a successful project.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop construction schedule using standard CPM guidelinesManage project construction schedule from the beginning to the final closeout of the projectManage the day to day construction activities between the different tradesCoordinate material deliveries on siteResponsible for creating a safe and accident free project siteConduct daily safety inspections and hold weekly safety meetings with subcontractorsDirect and supervise subcontractorsWork closely with the design team and owner representativesInteract daily with the project managerReport construction activities daily using CBI daily reportQUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of 5 years of general contracting experience.
