<b>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</b></div>
<ul><li>This position is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and approving in-kind submissions.</li>
<li>Uses data extracts of submissions to identify training needs, prepares guidance, and delivers on-site and remote training and technical assistance to parents, staff, and site leaders in support of increasing contributions with accurate recordkeeping.</li>
<li>Provides on-site and remote training and technical assistance in group or individual sessions.</li>
<li>Assists in the development and revision of policies and procedures related to in-kind record-keeping processes and requirements. All work must meet the Office of Head Start&rsquo;s standards and regulations.</li>

<b>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Maintains knowledge of current in-kind regulations and requirements set by the Office of Head Start and expert knowledge in use of the approved database for collection of in-kind data.</li>
<li>Provides training and ongoing technical assistance to Site Manager, Site Owners/Directors, program staff, and parents regarding in-kind processes, timeframes, and requirements.</li>
<li>Trains parents in using the database parent portal and assists them with the in-kind entry process and requirements. Interacts with and trains parents on-site in classrooms as requested or identified by need.
</li><li>Provides timely responses to parents, staff, or others' requests for assistance or training with in-kind processes, requirements, timeframes, or database use questions.</li>
<li>Reviews electronic parent and staff in-kind submissions at least weekly and by end of each month for inclusion on in-kind reports. Approves submissions meeting documentation, and other requirements. Rejects incorrect submissions and provides feedback on the corrections needed for timely approval.</li>
<li>Reviews in-kind paper forms received to ensure all information is legible, complete, accurate, and includes supporting documentation. Transfers correct forms to designated staff for entry and inaccurate forms back to the designated supervisor for corrections. Notifies immediate supervisor when outdated paper forms are utilized.</li>
<li>Communicates in-kind submission data trends with Program Manager and Site Owners/Director to set site-specific in-kind goals, celebrate successes, suggest activities to increase in-kind contributions, and identify supports needed to parents and staff as related to in-kind work.</li>
<li>Maintains monthly reporting of in-kind issues to be addressed and identified by program and site. Plans, coordinates, and delivers training and technical assistance aligned to identified needs. Conducts regular and need-based training on-site or remote, as determined by goals, timing, and participant group(s).</li>
<li>Develops PowerPoint training presentations and supporting materials for use and website publication. Generates a monthly training calendar.</li>
<li>Completes onboarding training with all new sites and classrooms.</li>
<li>Assists in the development or revision of policies and procedures for the recordkeeping and processing of in-kind.</li>
<li>May participate in community outreach events as requested.</li>
<li>Participates in the Agency&rsquo;s Quality Improvement Program.</li>
</ul><div><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
<b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</b></div>
<ul><li>Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.</li>
<li>Ability to operate a personal computer.</li>
<li>Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Teams.</li>
<li>Demonstrates basic knowledge of database functionality and reporting.</li>
<li>Ability to prepare and analyze data reports.</li>
<li>Ability to navigate the Internet.</li>
<li>Ability to gain knowledge of Child Plus and Learning Genie software.</li>
<li>Ability to meet deadlines and reporting requirements with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate self-motivation to work independently.</li>
<li>Ability to identify training needs and set goals.</li>
<li>Ability to develop lesson plans and materials to support training needs.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly using speaking, listening, and writing skills.</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate public speaking skills.</li>
<li>Ability to type at the rate of 35 correct WPM.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain client confidentiality guidelines.</li>
<li>Ability to gain knowledge of the Head Start Performance Standards and in-kind regulations and requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to work and communicate with people from various multi-cultural backgrounds and socio-economic levels.</li>
<li>Sensitivity to the needs, abilities, beliefs, and attitudes of individuals within and outside the Agency, including but not limited to customers and co-workers.</li>
</ul><div><b>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</b></div>
<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Social Work, Speech, Marketing, Organizational Development, or related.</li>
<li>At least one (1) year of experience using database reports for managing information.</li>
<li>At least one (1) year of experience with developing training and materials.</li>
<li>Experience with public speaking.</li>
<li>Bi-lingual preferred.</li>
</ul><div><b>L ICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Must have a valid Florida Driver&rsquo;s License and daily access to reliable transportation to and from work and for travel to off-site locations in Central Florida.</li>
<li>Must meet criteria for background screening as required for childcare personnel in childcare licensing regulations.</li>
</ul>

<b>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to multiple off-site locations in Central Florida.</li>
<li>May be required to sit for extended periods while performing job functions.</li>
<li>Ability to operate a computer for extended periods.</li>
<li>Must possess auditory, verbal and visual capabilities in order to adequately communicate via phone, Teams, and in person.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds.</li>
<li>Must be able to transport materials and equipment to program sites.</li>
</ul><div><b>ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Office environment.</li>
<li>Possible exposure to communicable diseases found in young children including blood borne pathogens.</li>
<li>May be required to work nights, holidays, and weekends.</li>
<li>Must be able to report to various work locations, as instructed.</li>
<li>Local travel required. Ability to travel in/out of state for training as needed.</li>
