This role carries our promise all the way through the final mile, ensuring members experience both care in the moment and guidance that prepares them for the future.
Building on the responsibilities of the consultant, the senior consultant develops subject-matter expertise in complex areas and uses this knowledge to guide members through specialized needs, mentor peers, and strengthen branch and organizational performance. By combining operational excellence, consultative depth, and living our culture by example, the senior consultant embodies our values by walking with members &mdash; and teammates &mdash; through both light and dark moments, positioning the organization as their trusted, lifelong partner to create joy and ignite Michiganders&rsquo; impossible dreams.
This position has a starting hourly rate of $24.23, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferable skills. 
A Day in the life of a Senior Consultant can look like:<div><ul><li>
Walk alongside members in both light and dark moments.</li></ul></div>
Carry the spirit of our Manifesto all the way through the final mile, ensuring every interaction makes members feel supported and relationships grow stronger. Show up with presence, mirror joys and struggles, root for members, and care boldly enough to make every interaction meaningful.<div><ul><li>
Be a confident and trusted resource with depth.</li></ul></div>
Share knowledge of deposit, lending, and digital banking products with clarity and care, while applying subject-matter expertise in areas such as business accounts, IRAs, trusts, or compliance to meet more complex member needs.<div><ul><li>
Guide members toward meaningful solutions with a digitally-first mindset.</li></ul></div>
Take time to understand members&rsquo; everyday finances and impossible dreams, recommending products and services that help them move forward with confidence.<div><ul><li>
Mentor and support peers.</li></ul></div>
Model best practices and share expertise to help teammates grow in confidence and capability.<div><ul><li>
Deliver operational excellence with care.</li></ul></div>
Handle transactions &mdash; including cash &mdash; with accuracy, integrity, and consistency, protecting members&rsquo; trust while upholding compliance standards and dual control practices. 
What you bring to the table:<div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Minimum three years' experience as a service representative in the retail or service industry or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Demonstrated knowledge of fiduciary products and services.</li><li>
Extensive and demonstrative knowledge of digital products and services offered by Community Financial Credit Union</li><li>
Experience and a passion for leadership, performance management, and team member development.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a training and mentoring setting.</li><li>
Proven successful goal setting and achievements.</li><li>
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite.</li></ul></div>
