The Retail Food Sourcing Coordinator supports food acquisition initiatives and works cooperatively with internal teams and external partners to fulfill the organization&rsquo;s mission to feed more people and provide nutritious food. This position focuses on maintaining and assisting with food donor partnerships, managing donation logistics, coordinating communications, and ensuring accurate reporting.
Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>
 Assist with the development and strategies for sourcing donated products through retail partnerships and other sources.</li><li>
 Support the donor recognition program to promote donor retention and engagement.</li><li>
 Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, including grocery retailers, manufacturers, and other community partners.</li><li>
 Coordinate internal sourcing programs, including Meal Connect, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and donor communications.</li><li>
 Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for food donors, Feeding America, USDA, and internal CFB stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>
 Provide administrative support to the Director of Community Engagement in the development of new donor opportunities.</li><li>
 Support communications and marketing efforts related to food resourcing initiatives.</li><li>
 Represent the organization in community food advocacy and trade organizations as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.</li><li>
 Identify and report opportunities to strengthen retail relationships and enhance food sourcing capabilities.</li><li>
 Work closely with the Partner Engagement team to ensure the effective management of the Agency Enablement Program.</li><li>
 Work closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure store donation pickups are performed according to the guidelines.</li><li>
 Maintain organized records, files, and reports in accordance with organizational procedures.</li><li>
 Perform additional duties as assigned to support department objectives</li></ul>
Qualifications:
Education and Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; experience in outside sales and marketing to retail customers required</li><li>
Minimum of one year in Food industry, supply chain, warehouse, transportation, or comparable experience in food-related business environment.</li><li>
Experience and relationships with food suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, producers and/or packers strongly desired.</li><li>
Proven ability to examine and interpret a wide variety of information and make recommendations or decisions.</li><li>
Project management experience preferred.</li><li>
Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment.</li></ul>

Ability to talk and hear to communicate with diverse constituents and staff.</li><li>
Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.</li><li>
Ability to use hands to handle or feel items such as documents.</li><li>
Close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus is needed.</li><li>
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 15 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to drive motor vehicles and capability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks</li><li>
Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee responsibilities.</li><li>
