ABOUT THE ROLE:
Front Office Admin provide initial contact between the patient and the office. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care through scheduling, registration, file maintenance and billing procedures. 
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:<ul><li>
Answers the telephone.</li><li>
Schedules appointments.</li><li>
Directs calls to appropriate staff.</li><li>
Provides appropriate information as needed.</li><li>
Directs customers to appropriate staff.</li><li>
Registers patients.</li><li>
Enters or updates patient information in computer.</li></ul> 
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Prior office experience preferably in a medical setting.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of computer skills.</li><li>
Basic medical terminology preferred.</li></ul>
