Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Property and Facilities Manager, takes day to day direction from the Job Coach/ Grounds Crew Leader while performing grounds keeping and general grounds maintenance at Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties&rsquo; owned/ contracted facilities. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI&rsquo;s mission, policies and procedures. 
Requirements : Prior work experience performing grounds keeping duties is preferred. Must have a valid Michigan driver&rsquo;s license. Must have access to reliable means of transportation for job related use. Must be physically able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be physically able to operate heavy machinery, commercial walk behind mowers, snow blowers, etc. The work is typically performed at CMHA-CEI or affiliate facilities, which requires proper safety precautions; work will require physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes, or equipment. A range of noise levels in the workplace. Must be able to work under a variety of weather conditions. Work is completed in outdoor conditions in a variety of extreme weather conditions. Must be physically able to access work assignment. Must be physically able to do a great deal of walking while mowing. Primarily standing, stooping, bending and reaching in performing and completing a multitude of Landscape Maintenance tasks. Extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, and/or driving. 
Conditional Employment Requirements : Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check and verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.

Assistant Groundskeeper

<div>Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Supervisor for the Adult Mental Health Services Department, is responsible for administration of the functions outlined under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) of 1987, including Pre-Admission Screening and Annual Resident Review (PAS/ARR) and specialized services to nursing home residents with a serious mental illness and/or an intellectual/developmental disability. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit, including but not limited to, management of personnel, monitoring &amp; evaluating program operations, budgetary considerations, and ensuring effective cross-collaborative efforts amongst agency and community programs, in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI&rsquo;s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Master&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college/university is required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. At least three years of work experience with individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities is required. At least one year of work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position is required. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Access to reliable transportation is required. Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external providers required. Must be philosophically committed to community-based treatment and have strong advocacy skills.
Salary/Hours: Starting salary $66,711-$77,605 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $99,689 per year. 40 hours per week. Regular Full-Time.
