Community Concepts, Inc. is currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a team member you will be directly responsible for facilitating payroll and general accounting duties as assigned. This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.Skills and Specialized Knowledge:This professional must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to exercise good judgment, and handle confidential information. The ideal Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist will be someone with a broad range of experience and skills including, but not limited to:<ul><li>QuickBooks</li><li>Payroll processes</li><li>Accounts payable and receivable</li></ul>Preferred Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist skills also include:<ul><li>General HR understanding</li><li>Medicaid reimbursement and billing</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>Must have a GED or High School Diploma; Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred</li><li>Must be able to pass background check</li><li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen</li><li>Must have good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must be personable and able to work cooperatively as a team member</li><li>Must be able to cope with stressful situations in a professional manner</li></ul>Full Time Employee Benefits:<ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Vision and Dental Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Birthday Benefit</li><li>Tickets at Work</li><li>TapCheck</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Payroll: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
