Purpose of the Role:The QA/QC Engineer (HVAC) is responsible for ensuring that all HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation activities are executed in full compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, Qatar Energy requirements, and approved quality management systems. This role ensures defect-free delivery of mechanical works and continuous quality improvement across projects.Minimum Qualification &amp; Certification Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)Experience: Minimum 5 years&rsquo; HVAC QA/QC experience in QatarProject Approval: Qatar Energy Approved (Mandatory)Driving License: Valid Qatari Driving LicenseLanguages: Fluent in English &amp; Hindi (Spoken and Written)Computer Skills: MS Office, QA/QC documentation systemsHealth: Medically fit for site-based workProfessional Experience Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC QA/QC works within Qatar</li><li>Proven experience in Qatar Energy, Oil &amp; Gas, or large-scale industrial projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including:</li><li>Chilled water systems</li><li>DX systems</li><li>AHUs, FCUs, VAVs</li><li>Ducting, insulation, dampers, and controls</li><li>Experience working with consultants, client inspectors, and third-party testing agencies</li></ul>Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:1. Quality Assurance &amp; Quality Control<ul><li>Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP)</li><li>Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, MARs, MIRs, and WIRs</li><li>Ensure materials and installations comply with:</li><li>Project specifications</li><li>Approved shop drawings</li><li>Qatar Energy standards</li><li>ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant international codes</li></ul>2. Inspection &amp; Testing<ul><li>Conduct routine site inspections for HVAC installation activities</li><li>Coordinate and witness:</li><li>Pressure testing</li><li>Duct leakage testing</li><li>Air balancing &amp; water balancing</li><li>Functional testing and commissioning</li><li>Ensure proper calibration and certification of testing equipment</li></ul>3. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate QA/QC records, including:</li><li>Inspection reports</li><li>Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)</li><li>Corrective and Preventive Action Reports (CAPA)</li><li>Prepare handover documentation and as-built quality records</li><li>Support project audits and Qatar Energy inspections</li></ul>4. Non-Conformance &amp; Corrective Actions<ul><li>Identify quality deviations and issue NCRs as required</li><li>Monitor closure of NCRs and verify corrective actions</li><li>Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul>5. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Liaise with:</li><li>Project managers</li><li>Site engineers</li><li>Consultants</li><li>Client representatives</li><li>Attend coordination, quality, and progress meetings</li><li>Provide technical support to site teams to ensure quality compliance</li></ul>Applicable Standards &amp; Codes:<ul><li>QatarEnergy Engineering Standards (QES)</li><li>American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)</li><li>Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors&rsquo; National Association (SMACNA)</li><li>Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA)</li><li>National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) (where applicable)</li><li>ISO 9001 Quality Management System</li></ul>Competencies &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC QA/QC procedures</li><li>Excellent inspection and reporting skills</li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications</li><li>Strong communication skills in English &amp; Hindi</li><li>High attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li><li>Ability to work independently and under pressure</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<ul><li>Zero major quality non-conformances</li><li>Timely closure of NCRs</li><li>Compliance with inspection schedules</li><li>Successful Qatar Energy audits and inspections</li><li>Quality documentation submitted on time</li></ul>QHSE &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>Comply with company Como FMS QHSE Policies and Qatar Energy QHSSE requirements</li><li>Promote safe work practices and Stop Work Authority</li><li>Ensure quality activities do not compromise safety</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month
