About the Role</b></h2><p>
We're hiring a Video Editor to own how Comp AI shows up on screen. Footage comes to you &mdash; your job is to turn it into a sharp, on-brand video that earns attention and drives the brand.</p><p></p><p><br>
This is an editing role, not a production one. We're not looking for generic corporate edits. Our content should feel cinematic, fast - paced, and social native sharp cuts, documentary realism, and motion graphics that support the story.</p><p></p><p><br>
Most people think compliance is boring. Your job is to make people stop scrolling. The content you ship is how a lot of the market meets us for the first time, so the craft matters. You'll work directly with founders and the growth team, see what actually performs, and iterate against it.</p><p></p><p><br>
We're at Series A stage and scaling from 19 to 40 this year &mdash; real ownership, meaningful equity, and Florida no-state-income-tax take-home.</p><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What You'll Do</b></h2><p>
Own the edit</p><br>

Take raw footage and own it end to end: assembly, story, pace, graphics, sound, color, and final delivery.</li><li>
Cut for attention. Trim the fat, keep the hook, and hold the viewer to the end.</li><li>
Set and hold a consistent visual style across everything we publish.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
Ship fast</p><br>

Turn around edits in days, then iterate on what actually performs.</li><li>
Produce both short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn) and long-form (YouTube, product, brand) cuts.</li><li>
Keep footage, assets, and project files organized so the whole pipeline moves quickly.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
Stay close and partner</p><br>

Work directly with founders and growth from concept through final cut.</li><li>
Take feedback well, iterate fast, and bring your own ideas to the table.</li><li>

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have</b></h2><ul><li>
3-5+ years editing video professionally, with a reel or portfolio that shows range and a strong sense of pace.</li><li>
Fluency in a pro editing suite &mdash; Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.</li><li>
A real eye for storytelling, rhythm, and what makes someone keep watching.</li><li>
Solid motion graphics skills (After Effects a strong plus) plus basic color and audio cleanup.</li><li>
Self-direction. You manage your own pipeline, hit deadlines, and keep quality high without hand-holding.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Strong Candidates May Also Have</b></h2><ul><li>
A track record editing for social platforms and an instinct for what performs on each.</li><li>
Comfort using AI editing tools as part of your daily workflow.</li><li>
Experience making B2B, SaaS, or tech content engaging for technical audiences.</li><li>

Compensation and Logistics</b></h2><p>
Base:$70,000 - $100,000, plus meaningful equity (~0.10-0.30%). Title and level scale with experience.</p><p></p><p><br>
Florida has no state income tax, so a given base takes home meaningfully more than the SF or NYC equivalent.</p><p></p><p><br>
Location: This is an on-site role, 5 days a week, at our Aventura office (Miami metro, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale). We build in person.</p><p></p><p><br>
