We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of proven experience in the construction industry and a strong background in preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects. This role is critical to our project bidding process and requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and commercial awareness.&#8203;Key Responsibilities:&middot; &#8203;Tendering &amp; Bidding:o &#8203;Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive, and accurate cost estimates and proposals for civil, Fit- out and infrastructure projects.o &#8203;Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to fully understand project requirements.o &#8203;Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives during the bidding process.&middot; &#8203;Quantity Surveying &amp; Cost Analysis:o &#8203;Perform detailed Quantity Take-Off (QTO) for all civil works, including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, paving, and utilities.o &#8203;Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of unit rates for various materials, labor, and equipment.o &#8203;Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing schedules.&middot; &#8203;Project Collaboration &amp; Management:o &#8203;Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.o &#8203;Prepare pre-contract documents, including project budgets and cash flow projections.&middot; &#8203;Reporting &amp; Documentation:o &#8203;Maintain accurate and organized records of all project estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and final tender submissions.o &#8203;Prepare detailed reports for management on bid outcomes, market trends, and cost benchmarks.&#8203;Qualifications &amp; Requirements:&middot; &#8203;Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.&middot; &#8203;Technical Skills:o &#8203;Proven expertise in Quantity Take-Off (QTO) and cost estimation for civil works.o &#8203;Proficiency in estimation software&rsquo;s.o &#8203;Solid understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC), tender procedures, and local market pricing.o &#8203;Experience with different types of contracts, including lump-sum, unit-rate, and design-and-build.&middot; &#8203;Soft Skills:o &#8203;Excellent communication and negotiation skills.o &#8203;Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.&middot; &#8203;Other:o &#8203;A valid UAE driving license is a plus.o &#8203;Candidates with a strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in Abu Dhabi will be highly regarded.&#8203;Salary &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>&middot; Competitive salary package (based on experience).</li></ul>&middot; Medical insurance, annual leave, and benefits as per UAE labor lawJob Type: Full-time
