Medical Scribe (Full-Time)CCCHC, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting physicians and enhancing patient care by ensuring accurate and efficient medical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.This role offers a competitive salary, an end-of-year bonus based on performance, and strong potential for professional growth.Position OverviewThe Medical Scribe works closely with physicians during patient visits to accurately document medical histories, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR system. By managing clerical and documentation responsibilities, the scribe improves provider efficiency, patient flow, and overall clinic productivity.The position is based mostly in Sherman Oaks. The position is under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager/Designee. Must follow the established clinical protocols, policies, and procedures within a defined scope of education, training, and responsibilities. Provides basic health information and education to patients using established protocols. Responsible for managing the phone calls and maintenance of daily appointments. Establishes charts for new patients and assists with scheduling new and follow up appointments.Responsibilities:&middot; Collects and records patient data including BMI, temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure.&middot; Applies warm or cold compresses&middot; Collects urine, sputum, and stool specimens by noninvasive techniques.&middot; Administers immunizations and medications per provider&rsquo;s order.
