 Administer Medications:
 
 Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
 
 
 
 Treatments:
 
 Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
 
 
 
 Assessment &amp; Monitoring:
 
 Conduct health assessments, track changes &amp; analyze data
 
 
 
 Care Planning:
 
 Create, update &amp; execute individualized care
 
 
 
 Collaboration:
 
 Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers &amp; others
 
 
 
 Family &amp; Resident Education:
 
 Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
 
 
 
 Documentation:
 
 Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress &amp; interactions
 
 
 
 Team Oversight:
 
 Oversee &amp; delegate to LPN&rsquo;s and CNA&rsquo;s ensuring quality care/teamwork
