We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our client in Oswego, client has Dementia and Ideal caregiver- experience with dementia, calm, caring and matured. This is a companionship case to provide safety for client when sundowning. Client is female and mobile. Experience with dementia is very important due to sundowning.</p><p>
Schedule- Monday 12pm to 5pm<br>
Tues and wed 1pm to 5pm.</p><div>
Responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.</li><li>Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.</li><li>Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting and transferring when necessary.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment.</li><li>Document daily activities and any changes in client condition as per HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in home health or group home settings.</li><li>Engage clients in social activities to encourage interaction and mental stimulation.</li></ul></div><div>
Qualifications<br>
<ul><li>Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality is essential.</li><li>Direct support for individuals with disabilities is a plus.</li><li>Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.</li><li>Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.</li><li>Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.</li></ul></div><p>
