Purpose:

Compliance &amp; Risks is looking for a Sales Development Team Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, implementation and leadership of the sales development team and process. This role focuses on building a robust sales pipeline by executing lead generation strategies that align with the company&rsquo;s growth objectives in our sector. This role is crucial for driving the company's growth by establishing a strong pipeline of potential clients and ensuring the success of the sales development function within a SaaS organization.

You will work with a diverse, globally located wider team. The Sales Development team is a globally dispersed team primarily based out of our Cork Office. This role is a remote role and will require periodic travel to Ireland. 
Key Responsibilities: 
KRA 1: Leadership
<ul>
<li>Implement the overall sales development strategy to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.</li>
<li>Align these strategies with the company's broader sales and marketing objectives.</li>
<li>Lead and mentor the sales development team, fostering a high-performance culture.</li>
<li>Provide coaching, training, and continuous feedback to ensure the team's success and professional growth.</li></ul> 


KRA 2: Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive strategies and messaging.</li>
<li>Facilitate the sharing of market insights and customer feedback to improve overall business offerings.</li></ul> 


KRA 3: Pipeline Creation Management
<ul>
<li>Monitor progress and performance, analyze data, and make informed decisions to drive improvements.</li>
<li>Conduct research to stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.</li>
<li>Refine lead generation tactics and identify high-potential markets using market research and data analytics to support decision making.</li>
<li>Refine sales development processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li>
<li>Implement tools and technologies to streamline operations and improve communication within the team.</li>
<li>Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline health to senior management.</li>
<li>Provide insights and recommendations for strategy adjustments based on performance data.</li></ul> 


Experience and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Masters preferred.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in enterprise sales development, lead generation, or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership position, preferably in the SaaS technology sector.</li>
<li>Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales development teams and exceeding lead generation targets.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of fast growing Enterprise SaaS Business and both high and low velocity sales.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.</li>
<li>Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to assess performance and make informed decisions.</li>
<li>Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools like Salesloft.</li>
<li>Strong leadership qualities, an in-depth understanding of the sales process, and a passion for driving business development initiatives.</li>

<li>Strong strategic thinking abilities coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li></ul>
