CCI has been proudly ISO certified since 2001.Summary of RoleThe Staff Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support. This role will also support the month-end close process and work cross functionally with other departments.Key Responsibilities&middot; Supports day-to-day accounting and the month-end close process by ensuring all financial transactions were accurately recorded and properly reported&middot; Supports general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities&middot; Prepares balance sheet reconciliations including bank rec&middot; Assists Accounts Payable in day-to-day operations&middot; Assists Accounts Receivable in day-to-day operations, including AR collections&middot; Fully utilizes Made2Manage (ERP system) and other technology, to perform duties and to maintain and audit data, e.g., inventory, purchasing, etc.&middot; Contributes to process improvement and automation efforts within accounting department, especially AP and AR&middot; Drives and champions automation and technology-focused efficiency&middot; Interacts with various departments, leading and participating in cross functional programs&middot; Other duties as assigned, position subject to change at any timeQualifications Education:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree strongly preferred; Associate&rsquo;s requiredExperience/Knowledge:&middot;3-5 years of related experience&middot; Experience in manufacturing preferred&middot; Experience in AP and ARSkills/Competencies:&middot; Excellent team and interpersonal skills including collaborating with internal and external customers at all levels; strong customer focus&middot; Positive and professional demeanor; able to stay composed during ambiguous or tense situations&middot; Math, computation, reasoning and reading skills&middot; Advanced computer skills including MS 365 and Excel, 10-key, and standard office applications; ERP experience preferred, especially Made2Manage&middot; Able to keep information confidential, build trust, and behave ethically&middot; Strong ability to prioritize, manage time, and organize duties and projects, anticipating work needs/volume&middot; Positive, professional attitude with the ability to learn quickly&middot; Attention to detail and ability to focus&middot; Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills&middot; Strong project planning and delegation skills&middot; Driven, with the ability to work independently and as a team member&middot; Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skillsPhysical Demands&middot; Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7 AM to 4 PM, Friday: 7 AM to 1 PM.
