 Our client is currently seeking a qualified
 
 Scrum Master
 
 to join their team and provide end-user support. This role is
 
 remote in the EST time zone
 
 and the ideal candidate
 
 must
 
 be located there
 
 .
 
 Strong preference for candidates located in Charlotte NC, Dallas / Irvine TX, Birmingham AL.
 
 
 
 Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Enable transparency, flow, and continuous improvement in multiple initiatives at once
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress
 </li>
 <li>
 Coach the team on Scrum and agile best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Protect the team from distractions and scope creep
 </li>
 <li>
 Help improve team performance and flow over time
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide agile teams in adopting the Scrum framework to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality products
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Educate the team and organization on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a liaison between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignment
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote continuous improvement and help the team maintain high velocity
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to Agile principles
 </li>
 <li>
 Support team self-organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify blockers impacting delivery
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with leadership to remove organizational barriers
 </li>
 <li>
 Coach developers, QA, and Product Owners on Agile practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote continuous improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Track sprint progress
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, release planning
 </li>
 <li>
 Common Agile tools include Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, API integrations
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Skills And Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 5+ years of working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master within enterprise environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Experienced using ServiceNow, AWS, and Microsoft knowledge while using Rally (Agile Tool)
 </li>
 <li>
 Scrum Master Certification not required but preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous Bank industry experience not required but preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior PM / Scrum experience (proven track record)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent / top tier communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong expertise in Agile frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, Large-Scale Scrum
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of backlog refinement, story point estimation, velocity tracking, sprint metrics
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Wage Range
 
 
 
 The rate for this position is between
 
 $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
 
 , unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
