Purpose:
As a Sales Manager for Comtech&rsquo;s 911 division, you will serve as both a trusted advisor and sales advocate for a portfolio of existing and new carrier customers, including VoIP, wireless, and wireless carriers. Your primary mission is to strengthen long-term customer relationships while identifying and closing new revenue opportunities through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells. This is a quota-carrying role focused on customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned carrier customer accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.</li><li>
Customer Advocacy: Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure client needs are met, issues are resolved promptly, and feedback is incorporated into service improvements.</li><li>
Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing and new accounts through upselling and cross-selling of Comtech&rsquo;s 911 solutions and related services.</li><li>
Renewals Processing: Manage and process annual contract renewals, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction with terms and pricing.</li><li>
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account strategies to align customer goals with Comtech&rsquo;s offerings, delivering tailored solutions that drive value.</li><li>
Forecasting &amp; Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track account performance metrics, and report on revenue growth and customer satisfaction KPIs.</li><li>
Collaboration: Work closely with product, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of 911 solutions and to identify opportunities for product enhancements.</li><li>
Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to position Comtech as the preferred partner.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage complex customer accounts and drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.</li><li>
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset.</li><li>
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Knowledge of 911 systems, public safety technology, or telecommunications is a plus.</li><li>
 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles, preferably in technology, telecommunications, or public safety sectors.</li><li>
Demonstrated success in growing existing customer accounts and achieving revenue targets.</li><li>
Experience managing contract renewals and negotiating terms with enterprise or government clients.</li><li>
Familiarity with 911 or emergency services technology is highly desirable.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.</li><li>
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Monitor network elements for anomalies and reports/troubleshoots issues using network management software</li><li>
Identify, triage, resolve or escalate incidents per defined processes</li><li>
Monitor email for incidents and customer requests</li><li>
Provide first-line technical support for customers</li><li>
Notify customers about incident progress or status changes</li><li>
Work with carriers, partners, PSAP&rsquo;s and vendors as required</li><li>
Maintain customer sensitive data per defined processes</li><li>
Participation in and support of the Change Management process as required</li><li>
The normal hours would be 7:00pm &ndash; 7:00am Pacific, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday, subject to the needs of the business.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Superior Customer Service skills.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and work well in a high pressure, fast paced team environment.</li><li>
Intermediate level knowledge of Windows Office Suite.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and the command line interface.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
Must be able to grasp new concepts and complex business relationships.</li><li>
Clear and Concise written and verbal communications.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Knowledge of network management tools (HP Operations Manager, Network Node Manager) a plus.</li><li>
Basic understanding of Telecommunications call flows and signaling is a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of 9-1-1 ecosystem is a plus.</li><li>
