<b>Position Summary</b><br>
We are seeking a strategic and operationally minded<b> Marketplace Manager </b>to take the lead in developing and scaling our presence on Walmart.com. This is a highly impactful, hands-on role for someone with deep marketplace knowledge, focus on driving incremental growth, and managing all operational and strategic aspects of the Walmart.com Marketplace &mdash; from inventory and catalog setup to pricing and performance optimization.</div><div>

This role requires someone with a great understanding of Walmart Marketplace, best practices for seller success, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, sales, trade, and marketing teams. While Walmart.com is the primary focus, familiarity with other marketplaces is a strong advantage.</div><div><br>
<b>
Key Responsibilities</b><br>
<b>Marketplace Strategy &amp; Business Development</b><br>
<ul><li>Build and execute a scalable strategy for Walmart.com marketplace, focused on profitable growth and brand excellence.</li><li>Identify growth opportunities (product launches, promotional moments, etc) and execute tactics to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue.</li><li>Use the marketplace as a channel for testing new products, identifying winners for store placement (MOD inclusion), and extending the lifecycle of delisted or end-of-life SKUs.</li></ul>
Account &amp; Operational Management<br>
<ul><li>Act as the main point of contact with Walmart marketplace teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners.</li><li>Set up and maintain foundational operations including item setup, listing creation, categorization, inventory feeds, and content optimization.</li><li>Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure inventory availability and optimal logistics performance</li><li>Identify and maintain a profitability threshold to determine WFS eligibility</li><li>Serve as the point of contact for Walmart marketplace inquiries, resolving customer service issues directly or via internal partners.</li><li>Own and manage internal systems and tools (e.g., Seller Center, Retail Link, etc.).</li><li>Stay up to date on Walmart.com policies, programs, algorithm changes, and promotional opportunities.</li></ul></div><div><br>
<b>
Pricing &amp; Buy Box Strategy</b><br>
<ul><li>Manage pricing strategies and ensure Buy Box optimization to protect market share.</li><li>Monitor and combat unauthorized sellers, partnering with legal and UPP (Unilateral Pricing Policy) teams to protect brand integrity.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with sales and trade teams to align assortment and promo&rsquo;s</li></ul>
Performance &amp; Analytics<br>
<ul><li>Analyze marketplace metrics including sales performance, advertising ROI, customer feedback, and inventory health.</li><li>Identify high-performing and underperforming SKUs and adjust strategy accordingly.</li><li>Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to communicate progress and opportunities to leadership.</li></ul></div><div><br>
<b>
Cross-Marketplace Awareness</b><br>
<ul><li>Stay informed on trends, policies, and opportunities across other marketplaces (Target+, Ulta MP, etc) to support future expansion and holistic digital strategy.</li><li>Provide input on potential tools, technologies, or partners that could support growth across multiple platforms.</li></ul>
<br>
<b> Qualifications/skills</b><br>
<ul><li>4+ years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 2 years focused on marketplace management, preferably Walmart.com.</li><li>Proven success in building marketplace operations and scaling sales growth.</li><li>Deep knowledge of Walmart platforms (Seller Center, Scintilla, Retail Link, etc.).</li><li>Highly organized, self-starter and problem-solver with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li><li>Strong grasp of Buy Box mechanics, unauthorized seller management, and enforcement processes.</li><li>Experience in CPG, consumer electronics, beauty, or home goods is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with WFS, Amazon Seller Central, Target+, and/or other marketplaces is a strong advantage.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Working conditions are normal for an office environment.</li><li>Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.</li><li>Preference is employee resides in the Stamford CT tri-state area.</li><li>This role requires on-site presence in our Stamford CT office 4 times per month.</li></ul><b>

Develop and implement content strategies across Conair's diverse brand portfolio that support and optimize Walmart.com, building best-in-class playbook improving search and conversion.</li><li>
Manage the creation and deployment of product detail page (PDP) content, enhanced content (A+), brand shops, and brand storytelling assets for copy and imagery.</li><li>
Collaborate with creative teams, agencies, and copywriters continuously to produce quality, educational, engaging, and on-brand content.</li><li>
Partner and align content with brand, marketing, legal, and eCommerce teams.</li></ul><div><b>
Item Setup &amp; Content Syndication</b></div><ul><li>
Manage item onboarding, content syndication, attribute mapping, version control, and ongoing maintenance via tools such as Walmart Item 360 and/or Salsify.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with retail partner content standards and brand style guidelines</li><li>
Own item attributions and variant setup, ensuring accurate product type classification, variant grouping, and compliance with Walmart's taxonomy to maximize discoverability</li></ul><div><b>
Continuous Delivery &amp; Workflow Oversight</b></div><ul><li>
Lead a continuous content delivery workstream across digital channels, ensuring agile, iterative updates that reflect business priorities and consumer behavior.</li><li>
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., creative, legal, brand, eCommerce) to streamline workflows and reduce time-to-market.</li><li>
Implement and manage processes that ensure timely delivery of assets across platforms.</li></ul><div><b>
Performance &amp; Analytics</b></div><ul><li>
Monitor content performance and improve SEO, search rankings, and content health scores (Luminate, Salsify, Syndigo)</li><li>
Utilize data to identify opportunities, make data-driven optimizations to improve engagement and conversion and drive continuous improvement</li><li>
Conduct A/B testing and iterate on content to improve engagement, findability, and conversion rates.</li></ul><div><b>
Governance &amp; Quality Assurance</b></div><ul><li>
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines (brand voice, tone, and style), legal requirements, and platform specifications.</li><li>
Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy, consistency, and freshness of content.</li></ul><p></p><div><b>
Qualifications:</b></div><div></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.</li><li>
4+ years of experience in digital content management, preferably within a CPG or retail environment.</li><li>
Proven experience managing content operations or delivery pipelines across multiple digital channels.</li><li>
Strong understanding of eCommerce content best practices across platforms like Walmart, Amazon, Target, Ulta, and Instacart.</li><li>
Proficiency with CMS platforms and digital asset management tools.</li><li>
Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li></ul><p></p><div><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></div><div></div><ul><li>
Familiarity with content syndication platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo) and Walmart platforms (e.g., Item360, Seller Center, Scintilla)</li><li>

Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Stackline, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Power BI.</li></ul><p><b>
