We are currently looking to hire a SOC Operator to join our team embedded with our client in Seattle! This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled security professional to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) as a SOC Operator. The SOC Operator is responsible for assisting personnel with all concerns that pertain to safety and security for locations around the globe. This role requires the ability to operate at the tactical and operational levels, managing and supporting highly confidential operations. The SOC Operator will utilize an integrated security platform, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to analyze and communicate potential threats to people, property, and brand assets. The SOC Operator will utilize analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, all under the guidance of the SOC Supervisor in a 24/7 environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Review CCTV footage, investigate alarms, and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as needed.</li>
<li>Assist employees in all concerns that pertain to client safety and security</li>
<li>Monitor travel safety and security of the client's employees</li>
<li>Notify and coordinate corporate response by distribution of advisories and other communications</li>
<li>Intake, triage, and respond to active security incidents</li>
<li>Notify senior managers and partner teams of relevant security incidents, often seeking guidance that informs subsequent step actions in support of the security response</li>
<li>Author, review, and publish security incident case products</li>
<li>Engage with response stakeholders to dispatch local security resources, collect and share information, and document incident details</li>
<li>Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success</li>
<li>Provide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed</li>
<li>Perform other related duties and special projects as required</li>
<li>Gather and prepare reports on individual and team performance metrics</li>
<li>Conduct ongoing review of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risks and proactively audit access control system connections to identify potential misconfigurations</li>
<li>Cultivate an intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations that will allow the applicant to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions</li>
</ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Associate's degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience in the Military, Law Enforcement, Government, and/or Corporate Security</li>
<li>Strong Customer Service skills</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English</li>
<li>Strong team player</li>
<li>Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite</li>
<li>Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative metrics</li>
<li>This is a full-time on-site position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Sunday, hours based on team size and historical alarm volume data trend analysis. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand</li>
<li>Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>
<li>Must pass the Basic Operator Course Exam</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in a Security Operations Center, TOC, or similar</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related</li>
<li>Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV</li>
<li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, at times stressed work environment</li>
<li>Lenel access level management skills</li>
<li>Comfortable with a high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovations</li>
<li>Data entry or coding skills.</li>
<li>Root cause analysis skills</li>

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position requires rapid open-source (OSINT) investigations and assessments to identify potential threats and mitigate identified risks to corporate sites, travelers, events, and other assets in the Americas. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask and provide deep-dive analysis on taskings pertaining to security concerns, including on topics such as geopolitical conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, crime, and environmental hazards. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work independently, review, and assess large data sets, produce well-organized and clearly written products, and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires significant attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data with a strong understanding and application of analytical techniques. This includes conducting open-source strategic geopolitical and tactical/investigative research to develop analysis derived from large data sets.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and analyze relevant threats, sensitive developments, and trends to provide written assessments and oral briefings addressing imminent and long-term security implications for the business throughout the Americas.</li>
<li>Produce written strategic deep-dive analyses and tactical/investigative assessments in a cohesive, concise, and visually appealing format to serve customers across business lines who have an interest across threat vectors.</li>
<li>Identify gaps in current analysis and develop new solutions, methodologies, and products, including using AI, to help improve information collection and reporting, especially as it pertains to data-driven analysis. This also includes the creation of maps or other visuals and tools to support the team's products.</li>
<li>Perform thorough quick-turn and deep-dive open-source investigations and monitoring.</li>
<li>Support business continuity, crisis, and security management teams, including, as needed, outside typical work hours during security incidents and emerging crises.</li>
<li>Travel to support global events, if needed.</li>
<li>Conform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.</li>
</ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree (business, international relations, or security-related)</li>
<li>2+ years of experience working in an analytical or intelligence role</li>
<li>Experience with open-source research, investigation techniques, analysis, and report writing</li>
<li>Experience in intelligence, investigative, incident management, or related disciplines</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly synthesize and assess information</li>
<li>Experience working with highly confidential information</li>
<li>Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision</li>
<li>This position requires up to 10% travel.</li>
