 Coordinate with the Director of Social Originals and Senior Director of Social Media to produce and edit social-first storytelling.

 Video Editors bring compelling, culturally-impactful, entertaining, and diverse branded content to life every day. Candidates should be natural storytellers and creatives first, interested in a role that spans a wide array of projects and styles, and able to collaborate with Creatives and Production.
 
 
 This position works closely with Directors, Producers, Creatives, Post Production Supervisors, other post-production team members, and reports to the Supervising Editor.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Edit a variety of complex branded digital video concepts across Cond&eacute; Nast&rsquo;s portfolio of brands
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Creatives, Directors and Producers throughout post production to meet the creative and client goals of each unique project
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to quickly and independently cut to the essence of a story, and create compelling and entertaining narratives from diverse raw materials
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain active lines of communication with Post Production Supervisors, Directors, and Producers throughout the course of a project; be vocal when it comes to a project&rsquo;s scheduling, creative, and technical needs, and flag concerns or delays promptly
 </li>
 <li>
 Skillfully address client and internal notes throughout the course of a project
 </li>
 <li>
 Video Editors will have multiple projects assigned to them at once; time management and flexibility are key to successfully stay on schedule in CNE&rsquo;s fast-paced, high-volume post-production environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 For any assigned project, complete motion graphics, color correction, sound design and mix, deliverables, and cue sheets
 </li>
 <li>
 When applicable, collaborate with graphics editors, sound mixers, and colorists to complete projects on schedule
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 4 years editing experience, primarily in digital video content; past work in a fast-paced, high-volume studio, media company, or post facility environment preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with editing for commercial or branded productions
 </li>
 <li>
 A well-documented history of working in a number of styles and formats is extremely important
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, with advanced capabilities with After Effects strongly preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong finishing skills; able to handle color correction, sound mix, motion graphics, and possess the capability to deliver high quality design and stylized content
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledgeable of professional workflows for graphics and VFX, audio mixing, color correction, and on-line mastering of deliverable assets
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of editing principles and current digital trends, with an ability to tell a cohesive story
 </li>
 <li>
 Finger on the pulse of viral digital video trends, with a knack for creative, insightful, and comedic timing
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have impeccable organizational and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to self-organize priorities to ensure that deadlines for multiple projects are met, adhering to best practices set forth by senior management
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to problem solve and work through issues and produce under the pressure of deadlines
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 The expected base salary range for this position is from $82,000 - $105,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
 
 
 In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.

Senior Producer, Vanity Fair Video
Vanity Fair is seeking an experienced senior producer to join our dynamic, fast-paced creative team. In this role the senior producer will be a leader on our video team and work closely with the creative, production, and post production teams on all video productions across social, YouTube, and emerging platforms. The senior producer should have a strong history of creating and executing high concept digital videos, have an extensive knowledge of production best practices and always deliver with remarkable results. This role reports into the director of video content.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Produce shoots (sometimes serving as sole producer) and lead all LA-based productions on-site, acting as liaison between talent, production, and crew.</li><li>Direct videos and interview talent.</li><li>Build and maintain a roster of trusted freelance below-the-line crew.</li><li>Execute confidently in both field and studio environments, often working from written treatments with minimal oversight.</li><li>Assign and oversee production team members on social video projects.</li><li>Develop and review daily shoot schedules, call sheets, logistics, and production tracking documents to ensure seamless execution.</li></ul> 
Desired Skills and Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li><li>A minimum of 5 years experience producing and developing/directing digital videos.</li><li>A demonstrated track record in creative execution and high efficiencies, especially in physical and field producing, within tight deadlines and budgets.</li><li>An interest in pop culture, Hollywood, and news/politics.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized across all aspects of production.</li><li>Extensive experience working with high-profile talent and talent teams, with the ability to create a confident, relaxed on-set environment.</li><li>Demonstrated aptitude to work closely with internal and external producers.</li><li>Strong understanding of YouTube specific storytelling and audience behavior.</li><li>Deep knowledge of end-to-end production and post-production workflows, from development through delivery.</li></ul>
The expected base salary range for this position is from $95,000K-$110,000K Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
