<div>The Assistant Preconstruction Manager plays a critical role in the successful planning and execution of solar energy projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase, including feasibility studies, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with various stakeholders. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Assistant Preconstruction Manager will provide leadership throughout the pre-construction phase, focusing on customer goals, schedule management, financial performance, estimation, design, and planning to facilitate a seamless transition to construction operations. 


Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul><li> Lead the preconstruction phase for solar projects from inception through to the start of construction.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource analysis to determine project viability.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and financial forecasting.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Work closely with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Develop and manage project schedules, integrating manpower loading graphs and cash flows.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Coordinate with internal and external teams to align on project timelines and milestones.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, engineering teams, and external stakeholders throughout the pre-construction process.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Lead construction phase project teams through pre-construction activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Manage construction teams in resolving design and constructability challenges during construction.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Establish and maintain relationships with customers, authorities having jurisdictions, and other external parties.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies during the preconstruction phase.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Facilitate communication and coordination between all project stakeholders.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ensure all preconstruction activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain thorough documentation of all preconstruction processes and decisions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Lead and mentor a team of preconstruction professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to achieve their professional goals.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Complies with all company policies.

Education/Experience:
<ul><li> Minimum of 2 years of relevant field construction management, project management, development management or 1 year of Preconstruction in renewable energy.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), or a related field.</li></ul>
<ul><li> PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.</li></ul> 


Physical Requirements:
<ul><li> Primarily sedentary work when working in the office. Occasional lifting, carrying, walking, and standing; frequent hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboard and office equipment; vision for reading, recording and interpreting information; speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and other team members.
</li></ul><ul><li> When navigating a job site, the ability to move around project sites, which may involve walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.</li></ul> 


Travel:
<ul><li> Ability to as needed or required by supervisor.
