Part-Time Training &rarr; Full-Time Position(4-5 days)Brooklyn, NYWe are a growing clinical laboratory seeking a highly organized Lab Operations Coordinator to support laboratory intake, insurance coordination, and physician office communication.This role plays an important part in making sure laboratory requisitions are complete, billing information is accurate, and communication between physician offices and our laboratory team runs smoothly.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review incoming laboratory requisitions for completeness and accuracy.</li><li>Communicate with physician offices to obtain missing information.</li><li>Coordinate test orders and billing details with partner laboratories</li><li>Monitor lab email, respond to inquiries and maintain clear records.</li><li>Verify patient insurance, organize and prepare billing documentation.</li><li>Assist with phone coverage and scheduling when needed.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>1-2 years minimum office experience</li><li>Laboratory accessioning or laboratory coordination</li><li>Experience communicating with physician offices</li><li>Medical billing or insurance verification</li><li>Medical office administration</li></ul>Required Skills/Education:<ul><li>Associates Degree</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent organization and follow-up skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Google Workspace ( Sheets, Docs, etc), email proficiency</li><li>EMR/ lab software a big +</li><li>Bilingual Russian/English is a big ++</li></ul>Compensation based on experience. $19-$25 per hour.Opportunity to grow with an expanding clinical laboratory.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Associate (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Administrative: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li><li>Russian (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Brooklyn, NY 11224 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
