 Position Overview:
 
 A Corrosion Specialist is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating the effects of corrosion on various materials and structures, especially within industrial settings like oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects. They apply their expertise in corrosion science and engineering to develop and implement strategies to prevent corrosion damage, ensuring the longevity and integrity of assets.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Corrosion Assessment and Monitoring:

 Conduct corrosion assessments on pipelines, equipment, structures, and other critical assets.

 Use advanced inspection tools and techniques (e.g., ultrasonic testing, visual inspection, corrosion probes) to evaluate the condition of materials.

 Implement corrosion monitoring systems and interpret data to detect early signs of degradation.
 </li>

 Corrosion Mitigation and Prevention:

 Develop and implement corrosion prevention programs, including coating, cathodic protection, and material selection.

 Training and Knowledge Sharing:

 Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 5-10 years of experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certification in corrosion management (e.g., NACE Level 1, 2, or 3) is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in corrosion assessment, prevention, and control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with corrosion testing methods and inspection equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
 </li>
