<div>As the Actuarial Coordinator, Special Projects, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide actuarial initiatives across annuity and life businesses. Unlike traditional valuation roles, this position is project-driven and focused on strategic initiatives, regulatory developments, model enhancements, and new product implementations.

This role requires strong hands-on AXIS modeling expertise and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Your role and impact

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Leading and supporting enterprise actuarial initiatives, including regulatory changes (e.g., VM-22) and model governance improvements</li>
<li>Supporting new product implementation and model development within AXIS</li>
<li>Performing in-depth AXIS liability modeling, including assumption updates, sensitivity testing, and model validation</li>
<li>Supporting asset and ALM modeling within AXIS, including integration of asset cash flows and liability projections where applicable</li>
<li>Performing model output validation, reconciliations, and analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and control integrity</li>
<li>Assisting with financial reporting impacts related to modeling changes (statutory, GAAP, and LDTI, as applicable)</li>
<li>Partnering with Finance, IT, Risk, and external stakeholders to coordinate deliverables and resolve technical issues</li>
<li>Supporting documentation of methodologies, model governance, and control frameworks</li>
<li>Contributing to process improvements to strengthen efficiency, transparency, and audit readiness</li>
</ul>

</ul>Requirements:
What sets you up for success
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field</li>
<li>ASA designation or progression towards an FSA designation</li>
<li>At least five years in actuarial roles is expected</li>
<li>Direct, hands-on AXIS modeling experience in a production environment (required)</li>
<li>Excellent communication and influencing skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with building and fostering relationships</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills including the ability to quantify impacts and synthesize data from multiple sources and identify trends</li>

Compensation: $100,348-$125,460</div>
