</div><div><b>Outdoor Escapes &amp; Design (OED)</b>, a premier leader in custom landscape and outdoor living environments, is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious <b>Heavy Equipment Operator</b> to join our field team.<br>
</div><div>This role is focused on the precision operation of essential earth-moving equipment for high-end landscape and construction projects. <b>A strong preference will be given to candidates who also possess a Class A CDL and verifiable hauling experience.</b><br>
</div><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
</div><div>I. Core Equipment Operation<br>
</div><ul><li><b>Expertly operate</b> a variety of landscape and construction equipment, including <b>mini-excavators, skid steers, track loaders, and dozers.</b><br>
</li><li>Execute tasks such as <b>rough grading, finish grading, excavation, trenching, and backfilling</b> with precision and efficiency to meet design specifications.<br>
</li><li>Perform routine <b>daily inspections and maintenance checks</b> on all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.<br>
</li>Maintain a high standard of quality and safety while keeping pace with demanding production schedules.<br>

</li></ul><div>II. CDL Specialist Preference (Highly Desired)<br>
</div><ul><li>Candidates who possess an <b>Active Class A CDL</b> and experience are highly valued as they may be required to:<br>
Load, secure, and transport machinery (lowboy/equipment trailer).<br>
<ul><li>
</li>Haul and dump bulk materials (dirt, aggregates, mulch, etc.) using Class A dump trucks.<br>
<li>
</li>Coordinate equipment and material logistics as needed.<br>
<li>
</li></ul></li></ul><div>Required Qualifications:<br>
</div><ul><li><b>Minimum of 4 years</b> of verifiable experience <b>operating</b> heavy equipment (Skid Steer and Excavator experience is essential).<br>
</li>Proven ability to perform finish grading and operate with high precision in a residential/commercial landscape environment.<br>
<li>
</li>Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices for equipment operation.<br>
<li>
</li>Must be able to work full-time, including early starts and occasional overtime as required by construction deadlines.<br>
<li>
</li></ul><div>Highly Preferred Qualifications:<br>
</div><ul><li><b>Active Class A CDL</b> with a clean driving record (Current health endorsement/Medical Card required).<br>
</li><li><b>Minimum of 4 years</b> of verifiable experience <b>hauling/dumping</b> with a Class A CDL truck and lowboy/equipment trailer.<br>
</li><li>Proven knowledge of legal load securement methods and all applicable DOT safety regulations.</li></ul></div></div>
