 Candidate Qualifications:

   Fluency in English and Chaldean
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 6 months interpretation experience preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
  </li>
  <li>
   Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with permission or at the request of the client
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
 Technical Requirements:
 <ul>
  <li>
   90% English proficiency
  </li>
  <li>
   Steady wired internet connection
  </li>
  <li>
   USB wired headset
  </li>
  <li>
   Windows 10 or Mac
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>

 Your responsibilities:
 <ul>
  <li>
   Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter&rsquo;s code of conduct
  </li>
  <li>
   Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical, specifically)
  </li>
  <li>
   Go into internal professional training
  </li>
  <li>
   Communicate and report to your team leader
   <br/>
  </li>
