Schedule: Monday's - Friday's; 8am - 5pm (in office)Must have:<ul><li>Accounts Payable experience and background</li><li>3 Years of accounting/bookkeeping experience</li><li>Oracle R12 or 11i experience in the AP Module</li></ul>Job Summary:Processes and verifies invoices and other payments daily. Provides back-up support to the other Sr. Accounting Assistant positions and performs some administrative tasks associated with AP invoices, vendor inquiries, and AP file maintenanceConducts daily work in compliance with safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates core values of Safety, Personal Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork in completing work assignments.Responsiblities:<ul><li>60% Verify approvals and accuracy of invoice data entry and supporting information</li><li>processed through the Accounts Payable system.</li><li>10% Analyze and code invoices to proper accounts, and accrue sales/uses taxes subject</li></ul>to state and local tax regulations.<ul><li>10% Prepare manual invoices in the Oracle Payables system.</li><li>5% Prepare adjusting journal entries for changes/corrections in the Oracle General</li></ul>Ledger system.status, and other AP-related inquiries.consistent with the required segregation of duties for payment review and processing.emergency response efforts, including but not limited to training, short-term travel andbackfill duties.and responsibilities, nor does it exclude or restrict tasks that may be assigned, and issubject to change at any time.Skills:<ul><li>5% Provide customer support to employees and vendors on invoice queries, payment</li><li>5% Provide back-up support and cross-training in the other Accounts Payable positions</li><li>5% Perform some AP-related administrative duties as assigned.</li><li>All employees may be assigned or otherwise required to support the business in its</li><li>Nothing in this job description restricts management&rsquo;s rights to assign or reassign duties</li></ul>-General computer skills with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook /Organizational skillsKnowledge: -General administrative knowledge and skillPay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
