Part-Time Employee Benefits &amp; Compensation Overview
As a part-time employee of Contour Airlines, you are eligible for the following benefits and programs:
401(k) Savings Plan<ul><li>
Eligibility begins the first day of the month following your hire date.</li><li>
The Company offers a matching contribution up to 6% of your eligible compensation.</li><li>
Enrollment guidelines and a 401(k) Enrollment Guide will be provided during onboarding.</li></ul>
Paid Sick Leave<ul><li>
Accrual of up to 56 hours of paid sick leave per year.</li><li>
Unused sick leave rolls over annually until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.</li></ul>
Vested Vacation Hours<ul><li>
Eligible to receive vacation hours on January 1st following your hire date.</li><li>
These hours will be vested and available for use in accordance with Company policies.</li></ul>
Non-Revenue/Space Available (NRSA) Travel Privileges<ul><li>
NRSA (non-revenue/space available) travel privileges on Contour Airlines upon hire and access to MyID Travel after 6 months of service.</li></ul>
Leaves of Absence<ul><li>
Eligible for various types of leave, including:<ul><li>
Medical Leave</li><li>
Non-Medical Family Care Leave</li><li>
Maternity and Paternity Leave</li><li>
Personal Leave</li></ul></li><li>

Compensation Details<ul><li>
The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.25.</li><li>
When you work on a Contour Airlines observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines&rsquo; observed holiday policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.</li><li>
When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime, which is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.</li></ul>

Summary of Essential Duties
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with daily operations and ongoing projects. This position is ideal for a student or emerging professional seeking hands-on experience in recruiting, employee engagement, HR compliance, and administrative processes. The HR Intern will gain practical knowledge of HR procedures while contributing to the overall efficiency and employee-focused culture of our department..
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Help onboard new employees and prepare orientation materials</li><li>
Support HR staff with employee file maintenance and record-keeping</li><li>
Maintain accuracy of HR databases and assist with data entry</li><li>
Assist with employee communications, scheduling, and coordination of events</li><li>
Help maintain compliance with company policies and employment regulations</li><li>
Provide general administrative support to the HR team</li><li>
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.</li></ul><ul><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions.</li><li>
Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a good driving record.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.</li><li>
High school diploma or GED certification preferred.</li><li>
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required.</li><li>
Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.</li><li>
Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.</li><li>
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.</li><li>
Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.</li><li>
Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact.</li><li>
Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA.</li><li>
Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>
Previous office or administrative experience preferred but not required</li><li>
Familiarity with HR systems or applicant tracking software preferred but not required.</li></ul>
