CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/ Full-Time, non-exempt
DEPARTMENT: Janitorial Department
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
Compensation Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Position Summary: The Contract Services Group is looking for a dedicated worker that takes pride in their work and ensures that all the public areas are maintained tidy. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be in charge of keeping all the public facilities in clean condition and promoting a positive friendly image to our guests. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Janitor/Hospitality<ul><li>
 Clean all public areas to the standards required</li><li>
 To clean and maintain all equipment daily</li><li>
To assist Guests in Public Areas when required</li><li>
 Post caution signs when required</li><li>
Responsible for the upkeep of all the equipment used</li><li>
 Complete deep cleaning projects, as required</li><li>
Report and injuries, damage, or missing items to the Public Area Supervisor</li></ul>
Knowledge and Requirements of the Night Janitor/Hospitality<ul><li>
 A commitment to delivering high levels of service with attention to detail</li><li>
Strong work ethic Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times</li><li>
 Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the Public Area Attendant cleaning industry</li><li>
 Integrity and capability to work independently</li></ul>

 Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals</li><li>
Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals</li><li>
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery and be able to stand for long periods of time</li><li>
Be able to work in internal/external environments</li><li>
Available to work weekends and/ or holidays may be required</li><li>
Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling, and moving objects up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>
