Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, NJ. This isn't just another assembly job - you'll be crafting precision control panels and piping systems that control fluids, gases, and energy for pharmaceutical manufacturers developing life-saving treatments, chemical processors creating essential products, and power plants keeping communities running.

What You'll Build:
<ul><li> Read and interpret complex P&amp;ID drawings to fabricate industrial control panels and</li></ul>
electrical panels with precision
<ul><li> Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035-.049 wall thickness)</li></ul>
<ul><li> Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials</li></ul>
<ul><li> Perform TIG root welding when required (approximately 20% of role)</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses</li></ul>
<ul><li> Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise</li></ul>
What You'll Bring:
<ul><li> 3+ years of experience assembling industrial control panels</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ability to read and interpret complex P&amp;ID drawings with accuracy</li></ul>
<ul><li> Expert-level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience working with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC</li></ul>
<ul><li> Proven TIG welding experience</li></ul>
<ul><li> Capable of lifting to 65 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout</li></ul>
the workday, including 30% of day standing.
<ul><li> Short learning curve - you quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and assembly pace</li></ul>
<ul><li> Background in Construction, Mechanics, Fluid Handling, and/or Pneumatics (preferred)</li></ul>
