Senior Data Scientist

Sr. BI Engineer is a BI resource with a strong client service focus and teamwork skills, good command both of back-end and front-end BI tools, and a true passion for technology. This resource will oversee BI end-to-end solution, assuring Business Intelligence technical consistency to the solution configuration and customization, as well as being the point of reference for the client and the project team on Data Quality side. Experience in specific CPG/FMCG sales processes (trade promotions, sales agreement, sales force automation, incentives management, retail execution) will be a valuable plus.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Duties &amp; responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>
Elicit and formalize customer requirements and drive analysis through workshops.</li><li>

CONVO is seeking a talented Sr. Architect to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead design (working with our product team) and implementation of the integration points and data architecture between our cloud-native solutions and our clients' enterprise environments, ensuring all customers are provided an enterprise-grade implementation that scales.
Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), along with a strong familiarity with CPG / FMCG business and data, you will architect solutions that not only meet stringent performance and scalability requirements but also harmonize effortlessly with our clients' existing IT ecosystems.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Platforms:<ul><li>
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the full spectrum of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.</li><li>
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine.</li><li>
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services offerings, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.</li></ul>
2. Architecture Design:<ul><li>
Ability to architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions integrations that meet business requirements and align with best practices.</li><li>
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions to leverage the strengths of different cloud providers while ensuring interoperability and security.</li></ul>
3. EDM / Data Lakes and Data Warehouses:<div><ul><li>
In-depth understanding of data lake architecture principles and best practices, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with data warehouse design patterns and methodologies, such as star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault.</li><li>
Experience with cloud-native data lake and warehouse services offered by Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics), Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage), and Amazon Web Services (e.g., Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift).</li></ul></div>
4. Extract, Transform, Load (ETL):<ul><li>
Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into target systems.</li><li>
Proficiency in ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.</li><li>
Ability to optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging parallel processing, caching, and incremental loading techniques.</li></ul>
5. Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:<ul><li>
Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools for querying, visualization, and reporting, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.</li><li>

6. CI/CD &amp; IAC:<ul><li>
Familiarity with Integration of data pipelines into CI/CD workflows for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.</li><li>
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and deployment automation techniques for data infrastructure.</li><li>
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.</li><li>
Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.</li></ul>

CONVO is looking for Sr. Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer who will be working in Convo's lean and agile environment for supporting the testing activities for SaaS apps and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions.

Role Responsibilities:<ul><li>
The responsibilities include test planning and management, manual testing, defect logging/verification, test case creation, leveraging test tools, and ensuring the quality of requirements.</li><li>
This team-oriented resource should develop and execute repeatable test procedures, implement and support SQA practices across the organization.</li><li>
Work closely with development, QA, and Product team to clarify requirements, follow up on issues, and reduce defects.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
5+ years of experience in Web and Database testing, FMCG and CPG productivity tools or large scale ERPs including Oracle.</li><li>
Experience testing large scale, complex web applications native mobile apps (Android &amp; IOS), especially in themes of social networking, enterprise collaboration, productivity or ERPs</li><li>
Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman, JMeter and Charles.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.</li><li>
Ability and experience in developing high coverage test cases for application features.</li><li>
A deep understanding of the benefits of QA automation, some hands-on experience on selenium will be a plus.</li><li>
Working experience of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles.</li><li>
Thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes in Scrum.</li><li>
Experience in supporting and /or leading production releases/project test efforts.</li><li>
Experience in applying quality management best practices and implementing application life-cycle management that includes requirements management, test planning, and execution, defects tracking, and reporting.</li><li>
Strong analytical and communication skills and attention to detail are essential.</li><li>
Must have to-do attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with other SQA team members, development, project management and multiple business functions.</li></ul>
