<div>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing 

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, under the general direction of the Medical Director and Practice Administrator, will provide healthcare in a medical practice clinical setting within their scope. 

The successful candidate will / be able to: 
<ul><li>
Obtain a comprehensive health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews; assess presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing thorough physical examination</li><li>
Assess, diagnose, treat, evaluate and manage acute and chronic mental illness</li><li>
Conduct psychiatric evaluations</li><li>
Refer patients for mental health therapy as needed</li><li>
Consult with other mental health professional to ensure quality patient care</li><li>
Develop and implement treatment plan including, but not limited to prescribe/dispense medications in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws</li><li>
Able to diagnosis disease states and administer appropriate treatment</li><li>
Understand and practice within specified limits and consults with Medical Director as appropriate</li><li>
Order/perform appropriate laboratory, diagnostic and other screening tests, including seek other information as needed, and consult with physicians and other clinicians for the evaluation of illness as needed</li><li>
Document assessment and treatment plan clearly and concisely in patient chart, in a timely fashion</li><li>
Prepare documentation for medical records including updating patient medical chart by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in written format or electronically</li><li>
Effectively conduct patient consults and communicate plan of treatment and care with patient/family to ensure patient awareness of self-management and health promotion/disease prevention</li><li>
Recommend appropriate community resources to meet patient/family needs</li><li>
Work with specified care teams for preparations for each patient office visit and the follow-up care post visit</li><li>
Maintain cooperative and respectful attitude with clinic personnel, providers, and patients to enhance continuity of care and a positive working environment</li><li>
Communicate appropriate information to other professionals and community agencies</li><li>
Ensure an appropriate discharge plan by facilitating the implementation of the discharge plan, discharge teaching and update discharge plan in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with patient&rsquo;s clinical course and continuing needs to expedite post discharge care</li><li>
Willingness and ability to utilize telehealth to treat patients as appropriate</li><li>
Perform any and all other duties as assigned</li></ul> 

What We&rsquo;re Looking For 
<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s Degree or Doctorate in Nursing required</li><li>
At least 2 years of experience practicing as an NP in a clinic/practice or urgent care or environment required</li><li>
Pediatric experience is a plus!</li><li>
Valid State Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses required</li><li>
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification required</li><li>
Maintain all appropriate approvals to prescribe and dispense drugs under applicable Tennessee State and federal law (CDS DEA license)</li><li>
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Courteous and compassionate bedside manner</li></ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing 


The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting physicians, physicians&rsquo; assistants, and nurse practitioners while dispensing medications, performing basic administrative duties, obtaining prior authorizations for medications, maintaining inventory of medications, some durable medical equipment, and dispensary supplies. 


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas: 

<ul><li><ul><li> Responsible for inputting the prescription into Pioneer Rx</li></ul></li><li>
 Adjudication of insurance claims</li><li>
 Fill the prescription and validate the count</li><li>
 Record any necessary information for record keeping</li><li>
 Dispense the prescription to the patient</li><li>
 Perform a variety of secretarial, clerical and housekeeping functions such as customer service, maintain cleanliness of work area</li><li>
 Maintain accurate entry of information in AthenaHealth, Pioneer Rx &amp; Cardinal Health programs</li><li>
 Perform any and all other duties as assigned</li></ul> 


What We&rsquo;re Looking For 
<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>
Possess a CPhT by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board in the state of Tennessee</li><li>
One (1) year experience working as a CPhT in a clinical or retail setting</li><li>
Excellent PC skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task</li><li>
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced clinic setting and maintain a passion to help those in need</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required</li><li>
Work independently, requiring minimal or no oversight and guidance</li></ul>
