Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Lab Technician to join our team in St. Henry. 

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.00 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) 


All training will be provided for this position. Job functions include:
<ul><li>
Testing production sample for compliance with standards (chemical and microbiological).</li><li>
Recording laboratory results utilizing set standards and procedures.</li><li>
Evaluating tested data, prepare charts, graphs, and reports presenting laboratory findings.</li><li>
Working with and maintaining a good relationship with USDA to meet government requirements.</li><li>
Trouble shooting lab equipment when breakdowns occur.</li><li>
Actively maintaining high personal sanitary measures by following the established guidelines.</li></ul><ul><li>
Must be 18 years of age</li><li>
Must have organizational skills, testing and evaluation skills, technical knowledge of laboratory equipment, and statistical knowledge.</li><li>
Must have written/verbal communication, math skills, and human relation skills.</li></ul>
