Corbion is seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst to join our team in Lenexa, KS. As a member of the Supplier Quality Team, you will be responsible for exploration, development and execution of quality and compliance risk examination of suppliers and materials. You will be accountable for evaluating risk and approving or rejecting materials and/or suppliers per assigned categories. This role requires proactive management and interpretation of supplier quality management systems in alignment with Corbion requirements to ensure Corbion meets the regulating or certifying body's standards. You will work closely with Regulatory and Procurement partners and other multi-disciplinary groups, including company leadership teams.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Proficient leader in process review of technical documents for compliance assessment to govern approval status of raw material requests and supplier and item qualifications regionally.</li></ul><ul><li>
Expert in attention to detail, organizational skills, and execution of cloud-based data management and workflow system.</li><li>
Perform technical document review and supplier and material risk assessments.</li></ul><ul><li>
Takes a proactive role for identifying compliance trending and managing regional vendor score-carding and other company tools to meet compliance metrics.</li><li>
Develop and recommend opportunities for improvement for Corbion to create, deliver and maintain Corbion purchasing specifications globally.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross functional departments such as site quality, R&amp;D, EHS, regulatory and warehousing personnel to monitor supplier compliance.</li><li>
Drive supplier management efficiency through training cross-functional partners to Supplier Quality Management Processes.</li><li>
In-house expert in configuration and execution of cloud-based document repository system.</li><li>
Explore and develop continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring regional supplier compliance and supporting global initiatives for supplier management.</li><li>
Spearheads continuous improvement initiatives of supplier and material qualification compared to GFSI, FSMA and other global standards.</li><li>
Other continuous improvement projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in science/business technical related field or related disciplines. (Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering)</li><li>
3-5 years in food manufacturing or supply chain function within business to business, consumer-packaged goods or relevant food manufacturing.</li><li>
Experience with supplier auditing, Quality Management Systems and qualification programs required.</li><li>
Preventive Controls for Human Food Qualified Individual (PCQI) Trained required.</li><li>
Must be familiar with general food safety principles, HACCP and HARPC, Food Safety, GMP requirements, organic, kosher and allergen management principles.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of quality systems and product/process lifecycle management within the supply chain end-to-end process and a manufacturing environment to evaluate and determine risk to Corbion business.</li><li>
Proficient understanding of workflow configuration (or similar software tool in industry) to support regional and global organization preferred.</li><li>
Subject expert in products in all categories and the manufacturing / product fundamentals to perform risk analysis.</li><li>
Solution-oriented, dependable self-starter with solid ability to lead or participate in cross-functional teams to champion change where responsibilities are layered throughout the organization.</li><li>
Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks on time in a fast-changing environment and to successfully participate on multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Experience working on complex projects with remote team members.</li></ul>

Supplier Quality Analyst

In this role, you&rsquo;ll design and deploy ML models and agentic AI systems that power decision-making across R&amp;D, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial domains. You&rsquo;ll work at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and domain expertise to create scalable, cloud-native solutions that drive measurable business impact.<div></div><div> 
Essential Functions</div><ul><li>
Build intelligent systems: Develop ML models and agent-based AI systems that reason, learn, and act across domains like procurement, production, and customer engagement.</li><li>
Engineer autonomy: Design multi-agent architectures where AI agents collaborate to optimize operations from 'Idea to Launch', 'Demand to Supply', &lsquo;Order to Cash&rsquo;, etc.</li><li>
Operationalize AI: Lead MLOps practices for model lifecycle management, including monitoring, retraining, and governance.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex problems into AI-powered solutions.</li><li>
Accelerate innovation: Contribute to the development of AI-enhanced digital products, predictive tools, and decision support systems.</li></ul>
Required Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Master&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, or related field.</li><li>
3+ years of experience in ML engineering, applied AI, or intelligent systems development.</li><li>
Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., MLlib, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).</li><li>
Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>
Solid understanding of data modeling, software architecture, and algorithmic design.</li></ul><div></div><div> 
A very strong candidate will also have experience or exposure to the following:</div><ul><li>
Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI) or multi-agent systems.</li><li>
