<div>Lab Technician &ndash; Laboratory Operations- Indianapolis, IN
We are seeking a self-motivated Full-Time Lab Technician to join our Laboratory Operations team. In this role, you will prepare batches of samples by receiving and sorting urine and oral fluid specimens at your assigned workstation. The Lab Technician is responsible for reading and scanning Chain of Custody (CoC) forms, ordering applicable tests in the system, aliquoting specimens into testing vials and applying barcoded labels to ensure samples are properly prepared for the testing process.
Shift: M-F 10am-630pm 
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
 
Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
Primary Responsibilities
<ul><li>Perform routine operations including opening sample bags, creating accessions and batches, ordering proper test(s), and applying barcode labels.
</li><li>Scan Chain of Custody (CoC) forms, ensuring proper orientation and clear, reproducible documents.
</li><li>Verify proper aliquot volume; it may be required to hand-pour aliquots using bulb pipettes.
</li><li>Identify and separate samples requiring additional attention.
</li><li>Enter client and donor information, noting any deficiencies after Team Lead sign-off.
</li><li>Assist with transporting batches to other departments and placing or retrieving samples from freezer storage while maintaining proper chain of custody.
</li><li>Follow all laboratory policies and procedures and adhere to health and safety standards.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
</li><li>Experience working in a laboratory or high-volume production environment (preferred)
</li><li>Ability to interpret and follow complex written instructions (required)
</li><li>Strong attention to detail (required)
</li><li>Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a team environment (required)
</li><li>Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) (required)
</li><li>Strong hand-eye coordination (required)
</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and carry as needed

Lab Technician I- Indianapolis

<div>Chemistry Lab Technician &ndash; Laboratory Operations- Flagstaff, AZ
We are seeking a self-motivated Chemistry Lab Technician to join our Laboratory Operations team. In this role, you will assist with analysis of biological specimens including urine and oral fluid (saliva). This position is also responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated chemistry instrumentation.
Shift: M-F 2pm-11pm 
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
Primary Responsibilities
<ul><li>Load specimens using automated chemistry instrumentation
</li><li>Assist with instrument calibration, quality control (QC) review, and initial analytical review
</li><li>Documenting all preparations to fulfill compliance requirements
</li><li>Performs routine operations including start of the day equipment initiation including verification of calibrations, controls, reagents and reagent levels
</li><li>Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed
</li><li>Reviews test results for release. Documents discrepancies, exceptions and unusual trends. Research and rectify errors
</li><li>Assist with maintaining adequate inventory of laboratory supplies
</li><li>Maintain accurate records associated with specimen preparation, including proper chain of custody handling and storage requirements
</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and decontamination procedures
</li><li>Maintain strict safeguards related to Protected Health Information (PHI)
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a science-related field required (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical/Pre-Med, Forensics, or Toxicology)
</li><li>Laboratory experience preferred
</li><li>Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) required
</li><li>Strong hand-eye coordination required
</li><li>Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy required
</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and carry as needed
