Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Education &amp; Facilities Sector. This role works closely with the Program Management Office (PMO), College Project Teams (CPT), and college staff to ensure compliance with established standards and performance metrics. Responsibilities include participating in QAQC meetings, conducting site walks and field checks, preparing reports and guidelines, and supporting the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The position also involves reviewing construction change orders, developing monthly project status reports, and assisting with correspondence and documentation for active construction projects.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides technical skills and coordination support to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Department.</li><li>
Coordinates with Program Management Office (PMO) staff, College Project Teams (CPT), and College staff.</li><li>
Participates in, and occasionally runs, QAQC meetings.</li><li>
Conducts field checks and site walks to verify compliance with assigned metrics related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or other assessment criteria.</li><li>
Supports in addressing matters with the CPTs and PMO related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), KPIs, and assessments.</li><li>
Assists in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>
Develops monthly project status reports for all assigned active construction projects.</li><li>
Reviews construction change orders and construction field orders.</li><li>
Reviews construction and professional services contracts.</li><li>
Manages data collection for status report updates, and reviews documentation asneeded with CPT/PMO.</li><li>
Reviews project risks and coordinates with CPT to develop project status reports.</li><li>
Facilitates resolutions related to QAQC issues.</li><li>
Coordinates with CPT for timely and accurate responses to requests for information.</li><li>
Generates and distributes meeting minutes and maintains project files for reporting.</li><li>
Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)</li><li>
Responsible for monitoring and addressing KPIs with CPT/PMO.</li><li>
Maintains various trending reports for assigned campus i.e. RFIs, CCDs.</li><li>
Assist in the development of new trending reports and attributes for assessments.</li><li>
Coordinates and prepare materials for CPT workshops.</li><li>
Assist in SOP GAP analysis.</li><li>
Supports and compiles data for on-going audits, as necessary.</li><li>
Assists in process improvement initiatives and coordination.</li><li>
Reviews project data for conformance to SOP and/or QAQC metrics.</li><li>
Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>5-8 years minimum recent professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved inproject or construction.</li><li>
BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree.Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substitutedfor the required education on a year for year basis.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communications skills.</li><li>
Able to travel to LACCD campuses</li><li>
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations anddocuments</li><li>
Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.</li><li>

Senior Project Engineer

 The Assistant Construction Manager fulfills the role of regular on-site support for the Construction Manager. The individual fulfilling this role should already have a foundational proficiency in technical construction knowledge and related management (e.g. understanding construction documents, scheduling, assessing contractor change order requests, cost management, etc.). At a minimum, the candidate should have gained a high level of experience as a project engineer or equivalent.

Assistant Construction Manager

The Traffic Engineer II will work under the guidance of a senior engineer to support multi-disciplinary projects, including roadway, public works, transit, rail, and other civil engineering for linear transportation projects and facilities. The Traffic Engineer II will perform a variety of engineering assignments requiring a general can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate with other engineers, architects, and project team members. They will work directly with one or more project managers and several lead engineers across different disciplines. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lead and manage traffic studies, impact analyses, and traffic operations assessments for a variety of projects.</li><li>
Conduct and oversee data collection, traffic modeling, and analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies.</li><li>
