 </p><div>The Warehouse/Commissary Worker assists with all aspects of the warehouse and/or commissary functions, to include working with and directing teams of inmate/resident workers. Receives, stores and inventories stock, supplies and equipment utilized in the on-going operation of the commissary and for general facility operations.</div><ul><li>
Under the direction of the supervisor, performs accurate and timely receipt, routing and storage of goods and cleaning chemicals received in accordance with appropriate sanitation standards and applicable codes. Prepares materials for shipment, as required.</li><li>
Conducts commissary sales transactions, processing inmate/resident order forms, performs data entry, verifies and delivers pulled orders to the appropriate inmate.
</li><li>Maintains up-to-date facility and warehouse inventories of all furniture, equipment and supplies. Monitors commissary goods for sale, to sustain minimum and maximum inventory levels as necessary.</li><li>
Accurately and timely prepares a variety of records and reports as required. Creates and maintains files in an organized manner, to include sorting, labeling, filing and retrieving. Maintains confidentiality and security of records.</li><li>
Communicates effectively with administration, staff, inmates/residents, and visitors, particularly in situations requiring tact, diplomacy, understanding, fairness, firmness and good judgment. This includes giving information, instructions and directions in accordance with policy and procedure.</li><li>
Conducts counts of inmates/residents working in the area, controlling access to equipment and supplies, and controlling the introduction of contraband items into the facility living areas through proper search procedures.
</li><li>Provides supervision and direction for assigned inmates/residents in the performance of their duties. Escorts inmates/residents or coordinates the movement of inmates/residents to and from different areas.</li></ul><p></p><div><b>
Qualifications:
</b></div><ul><li>High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.</li><li>
 One year of experience in warehouse/commissary operation, including the physical control and movement of inventory is preferred.</li><li>
 Must be able to operate hand truck, forklift and/or pallet jacks.
</li><li>A valid driver's license is required.</li><li>
Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

</p><div>The Records Supervisor<b> </b>supervises the maintenance, updating and disposition of all inmate/resident records and files.</div><br>
<ul><li>
Routinely contacts internal staff, local jurisdictions and courts regarding inmate/resident record information.
</li><li>Supervise the assembly of inmate/resident files from all repositories; review inmate/resident records for compliance with policies and/or procedures; direct the correction of inmate/resident files, as necessary, and the preparation of records for transfers or archives.
</li><li>Receive all correspondence from courts and respond as necessary; verify that court bonds received fully cover all sentences of inmates/residents; and monitor disposition of inmates/residents returning from court.</li><li>
Maintain an up-to-date list of inmates/residents scheduled for discharge; process parole certificates, letters of discharge, release authorizations and release notifications.
</li><li>Direct the creation and maintenance of general and inmate/resident files in an organized manner, to include sorting, labeling, filing and retrieving, in accordance with corporate file retention and storage procedures; provide for confidentiality and security of records.
</li><li>Supervise assigned staff in the performance of their duties and evaluate as prescribed by the facility and corporate policy.
</li></ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Experience in records management in a correctional institution or office preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Word for Windows, and other computer applications preferred.</li><li>
A valid driver's license is required.

Records Supervisor

The Physician provides professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care in a correctional facility</div><p>
The successful applicant should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.</p><br>
<ul><li>
Provide a variety of professional medical services to inmates/residents to include administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care.</li><li>
 Provide direction in leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Supervisor</li><li>
Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates/residents.</li></ul><ul><li>
Interview inmates/residents and make decisions on admissions.</li>

 Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates/residents are devised, reviewed and altered.</li><li>
 Direct unit treatment operations.</li><li>
 Perform minor surgery and occasional major surgery, if necessary.</li><li>
 Hold clinics for nursing specialists in making diagnosis, determining treatment, and giving prescriptions and protocols.</li><li>
 Maintain a good working relationship with facility staff, nursing staff, contract providers and outside provider agencies.</li><li>
 Utilize established corporate, facility and correctional policies and procedures in making decisions, but use sound independent judgment in meeting the responsibilities and performing the duties of the position.</li><li>
Assist in the formulation of facility policy for the medical.</li><li>
 Motivate and encourage staff to perform their duties consistent with policy and procedures.</li><li>
 Regularly evaluate the provision of all medical services to prevent the inappropriate use or duplication of those services.</li><li>
 Monitor inmate/resident inpatient hospitalizations and facilitate early release whenever clinically appropriate.</li><li>
 Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.</li><li>
 Prepare and maintain a variety of standard narrative, statistical, summary and/or operational records, reports and logs, using appropriate grammar, to include filing, alphabetizing and labeling; review reports and records produced by medical staff; properly processes all reports and documents in a timely manner.</li><li>
Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records.</li><li>
Audit medical files for documentation of all provided services.</li><li>
 Evaluate and recommend methods of improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness of health-related services.</li><li>
 Meet with outside hospital/agency administrators to ensure a close working relationship between them and the facility.</li><li>
 Facilitate, where applicable, NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO accreditation of the medical program by providing the required level of organizational efficiency and approved, appropriate medical services.</li><li>
 Accept on call status.</li><li>
Attend seminars, workshops, conferences, etc., as required.</li><li>
 Provide for health counseling and health education on individual or group basis.</li><li>
 Communicate responsibilities, authorities and accountability to all direct subordinates, so that they are clearly defined and understood.</li><li>
Conduct meetings of subordinate staff, attend scheduled staff meetings, and promote communications and the proper flow of relevant information between administration, staff and inmates/residents; assist in maintaining communications and consistency of operation between shifts in the medical unit.<br>
</li><li>
Communicate effectively and coherently to administration, staff, inmates/residents, visitors and the general public, particularly in situations requiring tact, diplomacy, understanding, fairness, firmness and good judgment. This includes giving information, instructions and directions, mediating disputes and providing reliable testimony, in court and other formal settings.</li><li>
Read, analyze, comprehend and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations, legal and non-legal documents, including the processing of such documents as medical instructions, commitment orders, summons and other legal writs.</li><li>
Review, process and respond (via corporate counsel) to lawsuits; attend court hearings, when necessary; conduct research of charts; review status of inmates/residents with serious health problems for completion of all necessary intervention and treatment.</li><li>
 Prepare and disseminate safety and accident reports as required by policy; take appropriate action in cases of serious and unusual incidents and emergencies.</li><li>
Assist with investigations and inquires; exercise independent judgment by determining when probable cause exists to recommend or take disciplinary action.</li><li>
Observe and record inmate/resident behavior.</li><li>
Inspect the medical unit for items that could be used as contraband by inmates/residents; securely store supplies and equipment or provide for their safe disposal.</li><li>
Reliably and repetitively identify inmates/residents by visual means.</li><li>
Perform searches of people and objects capable of concealing contraband, which will involve detecting and identifying objects and detaining people.</li><li>
Engage in functions in confined areas that include such things as physically checking the doors, windows and other areas to verify they are secure.</li><li>
Endure verbal and mental abuse when confronted with the hostile views and opinions of inmates/residents and other, e.g. visitors and family members, encountered in an antagonistic environment.</li><li>
Take appropriate action to prevent or diffuse potentially disruptive situations.</li><li>
Perform rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters to include administering basic emergency medical aid, physically removing people away from dangerous situations, and securing and evacuating people from confined areas.</li><li>
 Interpret, enforce and comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, procedures, standards and/or contract requirements.</li><li>
 Establish and maintain effective working relations with others and handle difficult interpersonal contacts.</li><li>
 Effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, staff members, contractors, business contacts, representatives from governmental agencies and the general public.</li><li>
 Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; apply management techniques to problems of administration and devise workable solutions.</li><li>
 Add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.</li><li>
 Interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</li><li>
Remain alert at all times and react quickly, efficiently and calmly in emergency and other high stress situations.</li><li>
Domestic U. S. travel may be required.</li></ul><br>
