Position Purpose:
 
 
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company&rsquo;s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you will operate material handling equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc. 
 
The Forklift Operator, Non Formula transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of the production process Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. 
 
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:<ul><li>
Locates proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into appropriate unit. Locates and performs count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.</li><li>
Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day&rsquo;s work orders. Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or remove outdated out of date inventory according to company policy.</li><li>
Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.</li><li>
Removes empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles. I</li><li>
nspects empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.</li><li>
Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.</li><li>
Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.</li><li>
Reviews work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.</li><li>
Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.</li><li>
Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.</li><li>
Works from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices, written and/or verbal instructions. Inspects items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed.</li><li>
Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed.</li><li>
Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.</li><li>
Secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
</li></ul> 
<ul><li>6 + months of Forklift experience</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift

<ul><li>Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry

Position Purpose:<div>
The Inventory Slotting Supervisor is responsible for item (SKU) inventory management by designating correct locations to optimize the flow of product selection and to ensure accurate product inventory management. Ensures that all products are located in appropriate pick slots in the correct warehouse departments (dry/cooler/freezer). Ensures that all products are ergonomically slotted to reduce personal injury and/or product damage. 
 
This position works to find solutions to slotting inefficiencies by analyzing data with various spreadsheet/software applications. Requires ability to professionally and effectively interface between purchasing, warehouse, transportation and inventory departments. This role will function as a team member within the department and across functions, as required, and perform any other duties assigned to best serve the company's internal and external customers.</div> 

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:<ul><li>
Supervises and coordinates warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products for the assigned production shift.</li><li>
Supervises a team of 15-25 warehouse associates including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities and perform their duties effectively.</li><li>
Ensures all products received during the shift are stocked properly and that first-in/first-out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotation.</li><li>
Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic through personal example. Ensures that all associates have a thorough understanding of their individual roles in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.</li><li>
Inspects all pick slots for inventory accuracy and maintains pick slot integrity including counts, ti-hi's, cubing, etc.</li><li>
Initiates and manages the set-up of slotting new items. Analyzes slot and product dimension requirements to ensure correct set up.</li><li>
Reports inventory adjustments, locations of empty slots and other related information to appropriate departments in a timely manner.</li><li>
Analyzes variety of reports/data to effectively resolve slotting issues and verify slot contents and counts. Routinely reviews inventory movement and effectiveness of slot locations. Uses systems and data to slot items correctly by cubic movement and weight to minimize number of replenishments, increase productivity and minimize potential for personal injury and product damage.</li><li>
Ensures all data is updated routinely and timely to allow for informed and effective decision making across all departments.</li><li>
Inspects and maintains pick slot efficiency and effectiveness to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>
Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at end of shift.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
The ideal candidate should possess:<ul><li>
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and material handling equipment.</li><li>
Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.</li><li>
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent experience.</li></ul> 
<ul><li>2+ years of warehouse slotting, order selection, inventory control or other related warehouse operations experience is required.</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Strong math skills (addition/subtraction/division/multiplication).</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Computer proficient with strong knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.</li></ul> 
Preferred qualifications:<ul><li>Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.</li></ul> 
<ul><li>4 - 6 years warehouse experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases within the foodservice industry.</li></ul> 
<ul><li>1+ years of experience leading and supervising a team of 15-20 associates.</li></ul>

Position Purpose:

Primary Responsibilities:
 
 
The Driver, Trainee Non-CDL is an entry level driver training role. Associates in this role will learn and/or gain experience in hauling freight and operating tractor trailers while assisting designated driver trainers with their deliveries and routes. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. 
 
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
<ul><li>Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required. Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries as required.</li><li>
Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.</li><li>
Report all safety issues and/or repairs required. Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately reports all safety hazards.</li><li>
Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.</li><li>
Checks and complete in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.</li><li>
Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.</li><li>
Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.</li><li>
Unloads products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas.</li><li>
Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contacts supervisor about removing orders according to company policy. Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.</li><li>
Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secure trailer doors.</li><li>
Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork.</li><li>
Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.</li><li>
Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
