We are looking for experienced CDL-B or Better Driver and Medical Technician to join our team at our Baton Rouge, LA site for a full-time position. CORE is willing to train on the Medical Technician duties.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Ability to safely operate a Class B CDL Mobile Clinic Box Truck</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone.</li>
<li>Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.</li>
<li>Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance.</li>
<li>Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.</li>
</ul>
DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.</li>
<li>Performs temperature checks</li>
<li>Performs COVID nasal swab tests</li>
<li>Process CDC questionnaires</li>
<li>Obtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signs</li>
<li>Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.</li>
<li>Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.</li>
<li>Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.</li>
<li>Performs safe venipuncture</li>
<li>Performs urine dipstick testing.</li>
<li>Performs 12 lead EKGs.</li>
<li>Performs audiometric screening,</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required</li>
</ul>
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Current National Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)</li>
<li>Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)</li>
<li>Pass DISA Background Check</li>
<li>Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening</li>
<li>TWIC Card (preferred)</li>
<li>Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)</li>
<li>CDL Class B or Better (required)</li>
<li>Must have available transportation with up to date insurance coverage</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees</li>

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Perform pre-placement physical examinations for new hires.</li>
<li>Provide medical assessments and health services to employees who become ill or injured at work.</li>
<li>Perform return to work assessments to ensure fitness for duty and a safe workplace environment.</li>
<li>Perform fitness for duty evaluations.</li>
<li>Assist with coordination of care, physician referrals, transitional duty program.</li>
<li>Provide medical review of surveillance and immunization records of contracted employees, physicians, volunteers and other affiliates.</li>
<li>Assist with TB Surveillance and Hepatitis B immunization programs.</li>
<li>Maintain professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops and professional affiliations.</li>
<li>Review and sign all EKG, pulmonary function tests, visual exams and lab tests as required.</li>
<li>Review and sign wellness center medical authorizations</li>
<li>Perform other work related duties as assigned or requested.</li>
</ul>

Education:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program.</li>
</ul>
Licensures/Certification:
<ul>
<li>National Board Certification.</li>
<li>Current state level Medical license in good standing.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience practicing in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine is desirable.</li>
<li>Recently licensed graduates who are highly motivated are encouraged to apply.</li>
<li>Previous experience in working with Workers Compensation, DOT, and OSHA Regulated Exams desirable.</li>
<li>Valid motor vehicle license and clear driving record.</li>
