Assumes shift accountability for supervising and coordinating the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the rehabilitation services. Performs the duties of licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists or Speech &amp; Language Pathologist as appropriate. Assists with development of policies, procedures and processes in coordination with leaders to ensure the highest quality services are delivered at the right time at all times to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships.</div><div>
Essential Functions - Supervisor, Neuro Rehabilitation</div><div><ul><li>
Provides appropriate supervision and direction to physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, rehab aides, clinical leads and other support personnel.</li><li>
Performs the duties of the licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech &amp; Language Pathologist as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides support to therapy team members as a hands-on leader. This includes collaborating with management in the development and implementation of staff orientation, mentoring, competency training, competency development, and the provision of ongoing mentorship or implementation of performance enhancement plans.</li><li>
Functions in a consulting capacity to professional team members and rehab managers, providing necessary education and training as required. Provides education and counseling to patients / family / significant others / members of the health care team in order to optimize outcomes and appropriate utilization of therapy services.</li><li>
Collaborates with management in the review and assessment of individual team member skills and required training. Assists with interdisciplinary relationships to support improvements in care delivery, patient, staff and physician satisfaction. Evaluation of care delivery is achieved through performance improvement process, monitoring of quality indicators, evaluation of staff performance and rounding.</li><li>
Responsible for human resources issues involving supervised employees; to include but not limited to, hiring, evaluations, corrective action, and updating job descriptions Develops and maintains standards for area of accountability and communicates those standards to the employees.</li><li>
Engages in continuous study of the entire professional field to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Completes required continuous training and education, including department and Spectrum Health specific requirements on a timely basis.</li><li>
Participates in process improvement activities. Continuously monitors quality, cost effectiveness, and efficiency in area of accountability and identifies trends. Ensures that services are provided in accordance with practice standards, state and federal regulations, organizational policy, and accreditation/compliance requirements.</li></ul></div><div>

Promptly identifies and resolves or escalates customer concerns or complaints to achieve positive outcomes. Places outbound welcome calls to members to educate them on their benefits as needed. Assists walk-in members and agents if assigned by leadership.</li><li>
Adheres to established procedure and quality guidelines in support of Priority Health service promise, key drivers, performance indicators, as well as Corporate values and codes of excellence. Identifies potential trends or issues that impact health plan members and works with coworkers and leadership resources to suggest process improvements.</li><li>
Assists customers with administrative issues, such as submitting enrollment record changes, providing letter explaining coverage or benefits, and obtaining and relaying certain member information to other departments as needed.</li><li>
Facilitates claims resolution through follow-up on member calls and correspondence received to appropriate departments.</li><li>
Effectively tracks and/or documents all service interactions with customers within appropriate systems according to guidelines.</li><li>
Develops and maintains behaviors of productivity, availability to customers, and adherence to work schedule.</li></ul><div>

Essential Functions</div><ul><li>
Analyzes, evaluates, resolves and responds to service inquires from members, providers, employer groups, colleagues, agents, Elite agents (customers), and others within departmental guidelines. Professional and pleasant interactions are ongoing expectations.</li><li>
Partnering with internal and external resources, promptly provides customers with information and education concerning benefit clarification, eligibility requirements, verification, authorization, billing and claim status.</li><li>
Promptly identifies and resolves or escalates customer concerns or complaints to achieve positive outcomes. Places outbound welcome calls to members to educate them on their benefits as needed. Assists walk-in members and agents if assigned by leadership.</li><li>
Adheres to established procedure and quality guidelines in support of Priority Health service promise, key drivers, performance indicators, as well as Corporate values and codes of excellence. Identifies potential trends or issues that impact health plan members and works with coworkers and leadership resources to suggest process improvements.</li><li>
Assists customers with administrative issues, such as submitting enrollment record changes, providing letter explaining coverage or benefits, and obtaining and relaying certain member information to other departments as needed.</li><li>
Facilitates claims resolution through follow-up on member calls and correspondence received to appropriate departments.</li><li>
Effectively tracks and/or documents all service interactions with customers within appropriate systems according to guidelines.</li><li>
Develops and maintains behaviors of productivity, availability to customers, and adherence to work schedule.</li></ul><div>
Qualifications</div>

1 years of relevant experience In related field.</li></ul>
