Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through cleaning and general maintenance under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various electrical systems. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high quality, cost effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction.<div> 
Essential Functions</div><ul><li>
Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services.</li><li>
Performs comprehensive electrical maintenance including the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of conduit, junction boxes, and fixtures of lighting, power, and other electrical systems, according to specifications and electrical codes. Measures, cuts, and installs conduit, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools.</li><li>
Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.</li><li>
Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.</li><li>
Performs electrical construction work including layout, demolition and construction of all types of electrical systems.</li><li>
Ensures that all electrical services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements</li><li>
Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to electrical systems.</li></ul><div>

Physician-Hospitalist-Full Time-Grand Rapids, MI

<div><div><div><div>Helen DeVos Children&rsquo;s Hospital (HDVCH) and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine seek a full-time Pediatric and Newborn Hospitalist to join our team in a split position between Grand Rapids and Corewell West affiliated nurseries. 
Applicants should demonstrate a record of clinical excellence in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Newborn Medicine, skill in delivery room management and neonatal resuscitation, and collaborative approach to working with the multidisciplinary team. This position will work out of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids (BW), Corewell West Level 1 regional nurseries, and McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital (MGL) in Lansing; it is classified as an employed Corewell Health &ndash; HDVCH employee. 
 
Position details:<ul><li>
Manage acutely ill general pediatric patients of all ages admitted to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.</li><li>
Manage newborns in Level 1 and Level 2 nurseries</li><li>
Attend all high-risk deliveries and lead delivery room resuscitation (Corewell regional nurseries and MCG)</li><li>
Stabilize infants requiring higher level of care and initiate transport to receiving team</li><li>
Complete routine newborn procedures and pediatric procedures (circumcision, frenotomy, lumbar puncture)</li><li>
Facilitate resident and medical student education and collaborate with advanced practice providers</li><li>
Combination of 10-hr daytime shifts, overnight shifts (BW/HDVCH) and 24-hour restricted call (Regional Nurseries and MGL)</li><li>
Rotating weekend coverage (approximately 1 in 3)</li><li>
Collaborate on quality improvement, patient safety, and educational initiatives within the hospital system</li><li>
Academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine; academic rank will be commensurate with experience</li></ul> 
Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics. We will support successful candidates in obtaining circumcision credentialing and maintaining NRP certification. 
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Board-eligible/board-certified in Pediatrics required; BE/BC in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred
Current M.D. or D.O. license for the state of Michigan
Current State of Michigan and Federal Narcotics Licenses
Certification &ndash; NRP (resuscitation), BLS, PALS 
Helen DeVos Children's Hospital
HDVCH is a 241-bed tertiary care referral center with approximately 11,000 pediatric admissions per year, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There are over 110,000 ambulatory visits, as well as over 55,000 children are seen in the Pediatric Emergency Department (Level 1 Trauma rated) each year. We are home to a large pediatrics residency program and 7 pediatric fellowship programs. Our faculty are heavily involved with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows both at the bedside and in the classroom. On the same campus is Butterworth Hospital where approximately 8,000 babies are delivered annually, of which the majority are cared for by the newborn hospitalist team. 
Corewell West Regional Nurseries
The regional nursery program cares for well infants in our Level 1 nurseries located throughout the Corewell West region. Providers round on well infants, attend and stabilize high-risk deliveries, and facilitate transfer to higher levels of care when needed. The nurseries are supported by a centralized leadership structure, clinical standardization of care across all locations, and NICU via telephone support and transport team. 
McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital
McLaren Greater Lansing is a new hospital that opened in March 2022 on a new healthcare campus in Lansing, Michigan, on the southern edge of the Michigan State University campus. It is a tertiary teaching facility with 240 acute care beds and state-of-the-art women and children&rsquo;s health services including a modern birthing center where over 1,200 babies are born annually.</div></div><div>
