<div>We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Accounting &amp; Finance Analyst to join our growing team. This role supports both accounting operations and financial planning activities, ensuring accurate reporting, informed decision-making, and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties<ul><li>
Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities</li><li>
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance</li><li>
Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP</li><li>
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries</li><li>
Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries</li></ul>
Finance &amp; Analysis Duties<ul><li>
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</li><li>
Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and operational metrics</li><li>
Prepare dashboards and management reports</li><li>
Assist with modeling scenarios to support business decisions</li><li>
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>
2&ndash;4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience</li><li>
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, Government Accounting (indirect rates, flexibly-priced contracts)</li><li>
Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with PROCAS Accounting systems a plus, other Gov Con accounting packages.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work independently</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)</li><li>
Prior experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or FP&amp;A</li></ul>
