The Pre-Award Research Operations (PRO) team in the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides centralized pre-award grant proposal preparation and support for Principal Investigators (PIs) across a variety of colleges and academic departments at Cornell University. The PRO team is charged with coordinating the creation, submission, and tracking of grant proposals to federal and state agencies, foundations, and corporate and other private sponsors. The team&rsquo;s overall goals are to provide consistent, high-quality support and excellent customer service while standardizing procedures and expectations for pre-award grant proposal activity. 
We have an immediate opening for a Research Administration Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in research administration and make a vital contribution to Cornell's research mission. 
What You Will Do:
As a Research Administration Assistant, you will directly support operations and workflows that facilitate the successful development and submission of sponsored research proposals. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will ensure that front-end processes are executed efficiently and accurately. 
 
Key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>
Managing proposal intake</li><li>
Creating and maintaining proposal records</li><li>
Overseeing the accuracy of data in proposals</li><li>
Assessing team workloads to inform the equitable and strategic assignment of proposals across the team</li><li>
Communicating with Principal Investigators to clarify proposal requirements</li><li>
Ensuring Grant Coordinators and Pre-Award Specialists receive complete and accurate information to initiate proposal development tasks</li></ul>
Due to the ever-evolving nature of the work and peak proposal seasons, you will need to be available and willing to flex your work schedule to accommodate unforeseen challenges or high volume. The position also may require occasional overtime, subject to management prior approval.

About the Opportunity
The College of Architecture, Art, and Planning invites applications for multiple Assistant Director of Student Services positions within the Office of Admissions and Student Services. These roles are critical to advancing a holistic, student-centered experience and strengthening innovative approaches to academic advising and student success. 
Reporting to senior leadership within Student Experience, the Assistant Director serves as a primary advising resource and advocate for undergraduate and graduate students across AAP&rsquo;s programs and locations. These roles are highly collaborative and student-facing, requiring creativity, empathy, and strategic thinking to support a diverse and dynamic student population. 
AAP is particularly interested in candidates who are excited to reimagine and design new pathways in academic advising, integrating proactive, inclusive, and data-informed practices that support student well-being, persistence, and success. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide comprehensive academic advising to undergraduate and graduate students across AAP programs, supporting degree planning, policies, and co-curricular engagement</li><li>
Serve as a primary point of contact for student concerns, including those in distress or experiencing academic difficulty, and connect them with appropriate campus resources</li><li>
Collaborate with faculty, college leadership, and campus partners (e.g., Cornell Health, CAPS, Dean of Students, Student Disability Services) to deliver holistic student support</li><li>

Analyze trends related to student performance and persistence, using data to inform proactive interventions and continuous improvement of advising practices</li><li>

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>

Strong public speaking, writing, and editing skills.</li><li>

What We Need 
As a member of the Virginia Moore Lab, you will provide routine technical field, greenhouse, and lab support, including experiments related to forage, cover crop, dry bean, and hemp breeding. You will also help with core research activities, including planting, data collection, and harvesting. Other duties include:<ul><li>
Assisting with field preparation, planting, and management of field experiments.</li><li>

Prior knowledge of safety protocols in a field setting.</li><li>
Experience with Microsoft Office suite &ndash; including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and familiarity with Outlook.</li><li>
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with faculty, staff and students.</li><li>
Visual concentration, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are required.</li><li>

A major responsibility is driving the establishment of common, best‑practice business processes across diverse advancement organizations and contributing to governance structures that will oversee the new enterprise technology environment. 
The CEMI Senior IT Business Analyst leads requirements development activities, facilitates process mapping and cross‑functional workshops, performs advanced data analysis, and contributes to system design and integration planning. The analyst produces high‑quality documentation, leads testing strategy and execution efforts, and plays a significant role in change management and stakeholder communication. With strong analytical capabilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset, the senior analyst ensures that technology solutions meet complex operational, technical, and strategic needs across multiple platforms, units, and initiatives. 
Throughout the implementation of the ERP, the analyst serves as a significant contributor in requirements analysis, process optimization, system configuration support, testing oversight, data validation, and readiness planning. The CEMI Senior IT Business Analyst will provide critical expertise to support the transition and to ensure long‑term system sustainability and functional continuity. 
This is a 3 year term appointment which may be ended or extended based on organizational needs, funding availability, and performance.

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, HR, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
5&ndash;7+ years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project delivery, preferably in a complex, multi‑unit environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in leading requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.</li><li>
Proven experience in business process analysis and redesign, including mapping current‑state and future‑state processes for large, cross‑functional initiatives.</li><li>
