Pay: $21.60 plus $1
Bonus Pay: Quarterly Gainsharing Bonus
Schedule: Night Shift (4:30pm - 3:00am-10 Hours) - (430pm-5am 12 hours)
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a motivated and experienced production welder to join our team! This position engages in the full scope of MIG weld processes on a variety of structural steel including (but not limited to) rigid frame columns, rafters, pipe, beam canopy rafters, small parts, clips, and special assemblies. Welded parts may include thin gauge, painted, or galvanized material. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of welding techniques and have a high attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off on day one and mentorship support to ensure successful team member growth and development. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.<ul><li>
Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment</li><li>
Responsible for coordination of welder settings, gun speed/travel and gas flow with observed condition of bead</li><li>
Ability to read a tape measure and blue prints to shop standard</li><li>
Ability to decide when adjustment or gun manipulation needs to be altered</li><li>
Ability to decide how much and what repairs to make for pin holes and burn through caused by auto welder</li><li>
Ability to train and teach proper welding procedures in accordance with manufacturing job procedures</li><li>
Ability to operate overhead crane and other lifting equipment</li><li>
Responsible for holding bead to specified shape, size and penetrations while maintain the quality of the product</li><li>
Responsible for keeping numerical and alphabetical sequences correct</li><li>
Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area</li><li>
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li><li>
A minimum of one (1) year of experience welding in a production environment or valid welding certification</li><li>
Ability to read blueprints and drawings</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain CWB and AWS welding certification in accordance with Cornerstone Building Brands welding procedures</li><li>
Experience with a forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plus</li><li>
Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools</li><li>
Willingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead crane</li><li>
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment</li><li>
General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments</li></ul>

 ABOUT THE ROLE
 
 
 
 
 The Claims Representative is responsible for managing warranty claims from initial intake through final resolution while delivering a premier customer experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to balance accuracy, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Claims Representative serves as a key partner to customers, internal teams, and service providers, ensuring claims are processed effectively, documented thoroughly, and resolved in alignment with company standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a hybrid role based out of our Welcome, NC plant requiring 2 days in the office per week.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO

 Claim Intake &amp; Validation
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Receive, review, and validate incoming warranty claims to determine accuracy and required information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiate clarification calls to customers as needed to complete claim details.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate claim documentation and communication updates within Dynamics 365 CRM.
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Claim Management &amp; Resolution
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Create detailed work orders for Cornerstone Building Brands (CBB) Technicians and third-party vendors, optimizing cost, efficiency, and service quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor claim progress and ensure timely, cost-effective resolutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Host product standards and compliance discussions with customers, helping address concerns professionally and clearly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer service reimbursements and prepare settlement letters when applicable.
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Quality Review &amp; Root Cause Analysis
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct research to identify root causes of product or service issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with plant personnel, sales teams, and other departments to support long-term corrective actions and process improvements.

 Participate in discussions and initiatives aimed at reducing recurring issues and improving overall product and service quality.
 </li>

 Communication &amp; Reporting

 Prepare clear communications and updates for management regarding claim trends, issues, and opportunities.

 Ensure documentation and reporting for claims, resolutions, and settlement activities are accurate and complete.

 Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs.

 Experience in Ordering/Quoting systems is desired (AccuQuote preferred).
