<div>Position Summary:
Depending on operational demands, the Branch Champion Float will provide assistance and back up support to various areas and locations within the Credit Union. Provides Members with a full-service experience either face to face, by telephone or by video channels.<ul><li>
This position is part of the Saturday rotation schedule.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2>
Teller:
Accept and disburse cash, share deposits, share withdrawals, loan payments, VISA payments, money orders, gift cards, travel money cards, and amusement park tickets; and to provide general credit union information<ul><li>
Maintains cash box at a predetermined dollar level.</li><li>
Maintains constant recognition of the vulnerability of handling cash; periodically reviews security procedures and maintains high awareness of actions to take during and after a criminal attack or other emergency.</li><li>
Calls unusual circumstances and exceptional cases to Head Teller or Branch Head Teller&rsquo;s attention to obtain approval for proper disposition.</li><li>
Responsible for processing required government reporting.</li></ul> 
Member Service:
Has thorough knowledge of CCFCU products and services and educates members of their availability. Opens new accounts, to include but not limited to the following:<ul><li>
New membership accounts, trust and business accounts.</li><li>
Money Market transactions.</li><li>
IRA accounts, HSA&rsquo;s and share certificates.</li><li>
Share Draft accounts.</li><li>
Debit Cards.</li><li>
Direct deposits and payroll deposit requests.</li><li>
Explains and educates members regarding Overdraft Privilege Program and maintains necessary paperwork per member request.</li><li>
Performs file maintenance on above items.</li></ul> 
Loans:
Disburses approved consumer loans adhering to all policies and procedures established by Cornerstone Community FCU verifying all stipulations of approval have been met. This is to include but not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Assemble loan information in person, by phone, on-line, fax, or mail for consumer applications.</li><li>
Properly secure necessary collateral and process all loan packages in a manner that will result in the least liability for the credit union.</li><li>
Secure necessary credit ratings.</li><li>
Assist the member toward the understanding of their own financial history.</li><li>
Process paid unsecured and secured notes.</li><li>
Evaluate loan applications, using all sources necessary (ex: credit report, tax returns, etc.) for the underwriter to reach a viable determination that is a productive loan for both the member and the credit union. This must be accomplished by adherence to all federal and state laws and regulations.</li><li>
Communicates the credit decision to the member.</li><li>
Follows all compliance and regulatory requirements when a loan application is rejected.</li><li>
Advises the member of the factors leading to the rejection of their loan request (if applicable).</li><li>
Updates loan minutes.</li></ul> 
Duties Specific to Real Estate Lending:<ul><li>
Responsible for aspects of the Real Estate Lending application process including interviewing member, obtaining proper application, originating application, and any documents necessary to forward to an underwriter.</li><li>
Obtains HMDA/Data collection information.</li></ul>
 Other:<ul><li>
Trains other staff at management request.</li><li>
Adhere to safe work practices and procedures.</li><li>
Be neat, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.</li><li>
Always represent the best interests of the Credit Union in words and actions.</li><li>
Complete all required training.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>
Deep understanding of how a credit union functions, and the value it brings to its member&rsquo;s and community. This includes understanding of what a Cooperative is, as that is the business models of all credit unions.</li><li>
Has a thorough knowledge of Credit Union Lending and can discuss the various loan alternatives with the member as well as all credit union programs and must thoroughly cross-sell all credit union products at every available opportunity.</li><li>
Has a thorough knowledge of the documents required for each loan and has the skill to obtain the required information in a friendly and efficient manner.</li><li>
Has a thorough knowledge of interest rates and dividends, how they are computed and disclosed, and can discuss this with the member.</li><li>
Provides consistent high-quality and memorable service to our members.</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and generate grammatically correct written reports, letters, memorandums, etc.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to establish working relationships and interact effectively with a wide range of individuals, members and vendors.</li><li>
Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.</li><li>
Desire to build strong relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.</li><li>
Self-motivated, confident, and ability to multitask effectively.</li></ul> 
Confidentiality:
Employees are required to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive Cornerstone CFCU, member, employee, and proprietary information both during and after their employment. If an employee has a question about the confidentiality of a particular matter, they should consult with their Manager/Supervisor or Human Resources. Any violation of this rule may subject the employee to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.</li><li>
1 &ndash; 3 years of Member Service, Cash Handling and/or Lending experience required.</li><li>
Experience within the Financial Services industry strong preferred.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.</li><li>
Bondable upon initial employment and continue to be bondable throughout term of employment.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements:
The functions of the position usually performed sitting but may require some amount of time standing. Some amount of stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying and other movements may be required. Tasks involving working on a computer keyboard, typewriter, calculator, cutting, labeling and taping involve extensive wrist and hand movements. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others.
